9Maya. I’d never been like this before. Not with anyone. Not with myself. Obsession felt like a sickness, something I couldn’t shake, something that turned my days into endless waiting, my nights into hours spent staring at the ceiling, aching and empty and full of wild, helpless want.

Obsession isn’t something you choose. It chooses you. Wraps around your soul like a vice, squeezing until there’s nothing left but the sickness of wanting. It seeps into your blood, replacing logic, making you something… else. Something monstrous. And fuck… I like it the more I watch her.

Maya's POV People always assume obsession begins loudly they imagine madness appearing overnight and turning ordinary people cruel in a single moment but the truth is uglier because obsession grows quietly. It starts with wanting to be chosen then wanting to matter and then wanting somebody to look at you the way they look at someone else and eventually wanting turns into needing and somewhere between need and desperation you stop recognizing yourself.

Lily's POV An alarm that shrieked at 6:00 a.m. like it had a personal vendetta against her peace. A five-minute internal argument about quitting life and becoming a houseplant. A cold shower that attacked her like it had been waiting all night to do exactly that. And finally the ritual. A silent, desperate plea to the universe. Please. Not a bad mood today. Not even a good one. Just… neutral. Neutral is fine. Neutral I can work with.

I couldn’t see anything. All I saw was blue, there was nothing, not even Death, it was like I was floating in the sky. I inhaled and exhaled trying to calm myself down but it made things worse. I could feel my nerves, I couldn’t let that monster get away, I am surely gonna get him, he was going to pay one way or the other. With that thought it was like gasoline was poured into the flames around me as they burnt like wild flames. “I am gonna get rid of you !!.” I screamed though I couldn’t see anyone that didn’t stop me from feeling the rage. Was I going crazy??.

I touched myself again in the bathroom, imagining Daniel fucking me hard on his desk. I was falling deeper into this obsession. I knew it was wrong. I knew it could destroy everything but I couldn’t stop thinking about my dominant father-in-law. Daniel was slowly taking over my mind and I was losing myself to him.
