Claimed by my Rejected Mate: Sold to the Brutal Alpha

Claimed by my Rejected Mate: Sold to the Brutal Alpha

It was a small thing, a tiny spark of defiance in a mountain of greed. I carefully slid the shard through the narrow slats of the grate. “Don't blink, Jess,” I prayed. Just look down. The obsidian fell. It was a silent, dark streak in the silver light. It hit the stone floor with a tiny clink that sounded like a thunderclap in the oppressive silence of the room. My heart stopped.

Shards Of Us

Shards Of Us

“I’m listening, but I’m not sure I like what I’m hearing so I might cut you short and send you out soon.” He looked up at me and his eyes glistened with unshed tears. All of which were fake to me. He thinks that he could shed crocodile tears to move me? “I made terrible mistakes. I didn't know what came over me. Leaving you, choosing Kiara… I ruined everything good in my life. And now, I’m paying for it. Kiara and I are done. The relationship was toxic. She’s…” He explained to me before trailing off. Kendrick shook his head in shame. “It’s not what I thought it would be. I messed up.”

Obsession of the King: A Luna’s Revenge

Obsession of the King: A Luna’s Revenge

I continued his explanation, “We discovered planted obsidian shards: enchanted, corrupted, and powerful—was found near our borders. It also contained some traces of the shard being used by a member of your pack, which is incriminating for you.” A collective murmur broke out. Colton narrowed his eyes. “What are you suggesting?” “We’re not suggesting,” Sebastian replied. “We’re informing you.” He raised his hand, gesturing towards Eamon who accompanied us here and brought the stuff we needed. The Beta stepped forward, presenting a cloth-wrapped shard embedded with dark cracks, pulsing faintly. It was the shard Nolan found during the dawn after the eclipse. Appar

So far this book deserves way more than 5 stars. The Female lead is multi faceted, tough and intelligent. The male lead is top tier. Their chemistry is off the charts and the story itself is interesting with appropriately paced plot development. It's hard to find books this good on this app.

Best part of the story is the great villain because her stepmother is evil and smart effective and not like other shallow villain. It's like she is the same with Veronica. Their relationship is deep. Her revenge plans are justified. The main focus is her but the curse of Sebastian is intriguing also

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

She acted as the conduit, funneling the Mother’s vast, divine essence through my body and directly into the **Obsidian Shard**. The feedback was catastrophic. I felt my soul being used as a funnel for an ocean. The silver light poured through me, screaming as it was compressed into the black stone. The Mother’s face distorted, the blue dress tearing, the human mask slipping to reveal a terrifying, geometric horror beneath. "NO!" the chorus roared. "THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETION!" "It's the **End of the File**!" I yelled. The shard began to grow, expanding from a pebble into a pillar. It wasn't absorbing the world anymore; it was absorbing *her*. The violet mist around Silas was sucked into the

Dumped My Unloyal Alpha

Dumped My Unloyal Alpha

In the dim light, the shard glinted like frozen oil obsidian-black glass, smooth yet jagged at the edges, and etched with a symbol that coiled deep into its surface, a serpent devouring its own tail. Malcolm’s breath hitched. He crouched beside her in one fluid motion, eyes narrowing as he stared at the object in her grip. “What the fuck is that?” he muttered, voice rough with disbelief and something darker. While we were still staring at the obsidian shard—trying to place its origin, its meaning, muffled voices from outside cut through the silence. “It’s a blood trail,” Kane called, voice tight with unease. “Weird… it just vanishes behind the cabin.”

fate betrayal

“The shard—it’s still active.” She turned to face it, her jaw set. “Then we end this, together.” --- We approached the shard side by side, our combined presence steadying the chaotic energy swirling around it. Aria reached out first, her hands trembling but sure. I followed, placing my hand over hers. The energy surged, trying to repel us, but we held firm. Together, we channeled our strength, pushing back against the artifact’s dark power. The shard let out a final, anguished scream before shattering into a thousand pieces, the light fading as the fragments fell to the ground.

Rejected Obsidian Lycan

Rejected Obsidian Lycan

“Those who are weak must be purged from this world because they never survive,” A moment of silence was observed as I whispered my last prayers to the moon goddess. “Your eyes…..I don't like them,” he commented, “They show too much of your weakness as an omega,” His hands glided over my face, slow and deliberate, until his thumbs pressed firmly against my eye sockets. “No—please, no… no…” My screams tore through the air, raw and desperate, just as Torian’s claws pierced merciless—driving into my eyes while I thrashed helplessly.

His Regret: Her Rebirth

His Regret: Her Rebirth

Even though I tried to silence them where I could, I couldn't get rid of the feeling that something was spreading. Xenia was standing in front of the map table when I arrived in the great hall. The new shard was wrapped in its cloth and pulsing faintly, as if it was eager to be seen, and Elric was there, too. "We cannot conceal them," Elric remarked. “The shards were designed to be located. Others will emerge here, in the wilderness, and possibly even between packs, if the Architect dispersed them.” "And if they are touched by others?" I enquired. Elric's mouth clenched. “The architect will then have additional pawns than we can count.”
