First thing I did after coming back? Asked the witch for a potion to stall my pup's growth. Last time, Emily—my mate's omega stepsister—popped out a silver-white pup the same day I gave birth. Mine came out scruffy, fur screaming enemy pack. James, Alpha of Ebonfang Pack, lost his damn mind. Accused me of cheating. Ripped the bond clean. Tossed me out like rogue trash. Five years in exile gutted my wolf.

The next time I saw Chase Reed, it was at a little guesthouse in the Rockies. I'd just finished feeding my son breakfast and was wiping his mouth when Chase came out from the kitchen carrying a tray. Our eyes met. I saw his pupils dilate in shock. Three years had passed. His skin was weathered and reddened from the sun, his face covered in stubble, with new lines etched around his eyes from the harsh elements. Then his gaze landed on my son. He froze mid-step, his eyes going wide with disbelief before flooding with joy. He hurried over, his eyes locked on my little boy. "Sweetheart... can you say 'Daddy'?" I lowered my head, turned sideways, and pulled my son protectively into my arms

This wasn't how he planned this whole thing. "I won't back down, Jaime. I'll surely win in the end" he smiled sinisterly. **** MONTERIO'S INVESTMENT*** Charles was busy working when his phone rang, he brought his phone from his pocket and picked it up. "Are you in your right senses now?" Jace asked over the phone. Charles chuckled. "Yes I am" "Gosh, you need to stop acting like a d**khead, it's childish man," Jace said. "That's enough," Charles said.

Holding up the police report, I continued, "Don't worry, I've sent his lover to jail." The chat erupted with cheers. "I did it because she trained her dog to try to kill me. I don't understand why James still thinks we can be a happy family if I go back. What he's done to me is unforgivable. Thirty years ago, he failed in business. His first love and also current lover, Sophia Lewis, ran off with all his money. I asked my family for financial support so that I could help get back on his feet. But over the years, he grew to despise me. He said that I was an old and unattractive woman."

Xeno makes a point to tell me about the Old man Dax who hates when teens like us walk past him without a greeting. They share information about the neighbor that lives in front of my nana's house, about how much he brings a new girl home with him every night. They even tell me about an incident that happened with him, in which apparently one of his past flings thought they were together and went to his house and made a whole scene when she found him with a new girl. A few hours pass and it's now one in the morning. We make plans to hang out later that day and say our goodbyes.

In the end, Calvin returned home with Dad, and with them was Holly Larson, a student my father had been supporting financially. Holly and Calvin shared the same hometown. In my past life, when I was bullied and ostracized for writing love letters to Calvin, Holly was the only one who believed in my innocence. In those dark and lonely days, I regarded her as my closest friend. I offered her all my trust and affection.

Deacon acknowledged him. “Here, it is Mr. Ondrink,” he chuckled. Deacon looked at Mr. Ondrink walking past him. “Well, need a ride?” Mr. Ondrink asked, looking around at Deacon. Deacon looked at the bus that just pulled off, “yes.” “So, what is your back story?” Mr. Ondrink asked on his way to his car. “Backstory?” Deacon asked, confused as Mr. Ondrink knew his back story, well most of it.

Justcie asks. "Of course it's true," Dr. Cho answers. She waves her arms, and her eyes start to glow. The monitors behind her turn on, revealing the hidden cameras in the OutPost. They show the four different rooms of the OutCasts, along with their living room and computer. "How do you think he was able to find the flash drive with reinforced steel recipes? How do you think he was able to design the armor to counteract all your moves? He had been watching all of you for months!" "You bastard," SpeedBlade says from behind me.
