I froze, my wolf practically begging for help when I stared at him, he came out of darkness and I tried to move away, I could not, I didn’t realise I had a wound on both my feet. “Who…who are you?” I whispered, my eyes filled with tears as he stared at him. I stared at him again, feeling the wave of anxiety washing over me when I realized I have been bitten. “You are not dying on me tonight, kitten.” He whispered before darkness consumed me.

He kicked her away, shouting angrily, “Get out of here! I never want to see you again! A woman like you doesn’t deserve forgiveness!” Sydney slumped to the ground, drained of all strength. Her eyes were empty as she stared ahead, muttering to herself, “How could this happen to me…”

Alice I clamp my jaws around his throat before he even realizes I am there, my teeth sinking deep, tearing through skin and muscle with a sickening ease that makes my stomach twist even as instinct roars approval. He gurgles once, a wet, choking sound, his hands scrabbling uselessly at my fur, nails raking through it like that will save him, and then his body goes slack beneath me. The moment his weight gives, I release him and shove away hard, stumbling back as my paws dig into the dirt to keep me upright.

I asked, my voice shaking. Steve hesitated before answering, “I believe this is the first tribulation. You have to be intimate with him. Maybe… if you kiss him… something might happen.” My world spun. I love him… but how was I supposed to kiss a dog? Still, I had made a promise to myself. I would overcome every tribulation—no matter what it took. I stepped inside. There he was… lying on the floor, almost lifeless. Blood stained his silvery-white fur.

Seeing that his threat had worked, Zachary once again pressed close to me. "Bingo, bite him! Bite!" I yelled at Bingo. This time, Bingo let out a loud bark. Zachary froze. The next moment, Bingo lunged forward to bare his teeth at Zachary, low growls rumbling in his throat. Terrified, Zachary scrambled away from me. "Jessica Lane, are you nuts? You're actually ordering the dog to bite me?" I hurriedly straightened my clothes, doing my best to calm my lingering fear and shaking voice.

And I'm at the point where Risa will confess that she is the crowned princess, she doesn't want to lie because she found out Levi hates liars.
