“Let it come. Do not fight it.” He increased the speed and pressure slightly. Elena arched her back. The wave crested suddenly, sending powerful contractions through her body. She cried out as pleasure flooded her senses for the first time under another person’s touch. Marcus slowed his movements gradually, guiding her through the aftershocks. When she finally relaxed, he withdrew his hand and sat beside her. “How do you feel?” he asked. “Wonderful,” Elena said, still catching her breath. “That was far more intense than I imagined. Thank you.”

A heavy, suffocating silence settled over the entire ship, save for the creaking of the timber. Then, a deep, resonant song vibrated directly through the ironwood hull from deep beneath the waves. It was incredibly low, ancient, and carried a beautiful, almost mournful melody that echoed in the throat. Leo's silver ears flattened completely against his skull, his body tensing. *We are absolutely not alone out here.* Something truly colossal was moving just beneath the surface of the black water. The "Hydro-Symmetry" was "Broadcasting" through the water, using the "Sound-Conductivity" of the ocean to bypass the "Atmospheric-Silence." "It’s 'Singing' to us, Avery," Nova said, her grey-static skin suddenly flickering with a deep, oceanic-blue. "It’s not 'Predatory' like the Oort-Static. It’s 'Old.' It’s the 'Original-Graft.'"

Osen glanced at me. “I owe the ocean nothing,” he corrected. “But I owe my conscience something.” His gaze sharpened slightly. “And so do you.” The words were not cruel. They were the truth. I inclined my head once. We both turned back toward the sea. Rescue boats carved wide arcs across the surface. Sonar pulsed rhythmically. Orders flew in clipped, controlled tones. But beneath it all... There was only absence. Another set of report came in. “Negative reading in sector four.”

The hum of the transport ship was a constant, soothing presence as it cut through the endless dark sky. “HELP! PLEASE! HELP ME! ANYONE! HELP!” The door slammed shut. Her voice echoed through the metal— Then vanished into the roar of the ocean. No footsteps answered. No voices. Just the deep, endless rumbling of the boat engine and the crashing waves outside. She sobbed, pulling desperately at the ropes again. After I closed the door, I collapsed to the floor and broke down in tears. Having cried my heart out, I curled up on the cold tiles, trembling with sobs. The last notes of my broken cries faded into the silence. It was as if my entire heart had been ripped apart and left bleeding. At that moment, I couldn't see a future ahead of me. All I felt was the weight of suffocation. Gabriel didn't leave. His voice, choked with emotion, came through the door. "Please don't cry… It hurts me to see you like this."
