Out here, with nothing but the ocean in every direction, the sky was absolutely packed with them—layer upon layer, deep and endless and humbling. I stood there for a moment, just breathing. Then I started walking.

The ocean ripples gently from silver to jade and fades to a deep cobalt at the horizon. The sky overhead is a pure vault of azure, fading to opal and pearl where it kisses the rim of the world.

Sam stood on a remote corner of the Isle of Skye, Polly beside him, atop a grassy knoll, overlooking an endless expanse of sea. Beneath them, waves crashed against huge primordial boulders, and above them, the sky was lit up by one of the most beautiful sunsets he had ever seen. The salty breeze hit my face the moment we arrived, carrying with it the sound of crashing waves and the cries of distant gulls. The water sparkled under the fading sunlight, a thousand tiny diamonds dancing on the surface. The horizon seemed endless, a serene blend of blue and gold, where the ocean kissed the sky.

The morning sun was low in the sky, casting a golden hue across the tranquil beach. The waves lapped softly against the shore, their rhythmic sound soothing to the ears. Maxine found herself walking beside Sarah, the sand shifting warmly beneath their feet. It was a rare moment of peace, one that had not been hers in what felt like ages.
