The Protégé

The Protégé

Then he rushed towards the octopus like a swordfish, took out a knife he carried casually, and cut off its head neatly. In an instant, the ink that overflowed from the octopus's body quickly dyed a large area of the sea black. Of course, to top experts like Yang Xiao and his Starsoul, they weren't particularly difficult to deal with. After successfully killing the octopus, the two of them weren't too happy. After learning from their mistakes, Yang Xiao and the Starsoul entered the cabin with caution.

I get the holidays are here and it can make things a little hectic. But all the more reason to try and get those chapters out ahead of time as we all would like to continue reading. However at this rate it seems you may lose followers of the book and the money you get by them supporting your novel.

Prince Lycan's Mate

Prince Lycan's Mate

Evidenced by staring at his opponent's expression that jerked loudly. The Orka stormed indiscriminately. Their bats are five times larger than baseball bats, with spiked tops and bottoms. When the stick swung and hit the cave wall, it would stick and pull whatever was attached to the thorn. A few moments later, five hooded creatures approached the skirmish. The orcas stopped attacking, they retreated in an orderly fashion, and the newly arrived witchers stepped forward. "What's your problem, Lycan?" asked one of the witchers. "Shit, where is my wife?!" Zeno shrieked. "If anything happens to him, I'll destroy this damn cave!" In fact, this cave was also not spared from Zeno's curse.

The Twelve Scions

The Twelve Scions

"I don't know as much. It's almost like they're only designed to kill and destroy everything. They do eat, but research has found that they didn't do it for survival, but to literally accumulate energy and getting stronger. They can live for years without consuming anything. They're total monsters, through and through." The table went quiet. Tirana proceeded to eat and both Lars and Len followed suit. Despite the heavy talk, it did not ruin the appetite of any of them. Lars' first bite of his seared ribeye with shitake mushrooms promptly reminded him that he was starving for the past few hours. "That's a lot of I - don't - knows, by the way," Len said as he munched. "Well, what can I say? Th

Epitome of Bloody Love

Epitome of Bloody Love

He said, the sea was a mass grave without bodies. If bodies are put into water when oxygen conditions are tolerable, large animals will eat them first. Then, the body will be opened to smaller animals. The sea monsters cleaned up the rest of the vampires' mess. However, this is just conjecture. "Where?" Ruby confirmed. “You want to see the sea?” The hairs on Ruby's neck bristled. Jay couldn't possibly have the ability to read minds. If that were true, with all the evil thoughts Ruby had about him, Jay would have just dumped her.

The Alpha’s Dirty Little Secret

The Alpha’s Dirty Little Secret

He pinned the thrashing, violet body to the dirt with his boot, his own claws digging into the stone floor. "Get inside! Move!" Victor roared. "They’re everywhere, Victor! They’re eating each other!" Elodie stumbled as a female wolf, her belly ripped open and spilling purple-stained guts, crawled toward them with a mindless, cannibalistic hunger. "Up the stairs! Zack! Camille! Anyone!" Victor hauled Elodie toward the main hall.

THE PRICE OF WENDY

THE PRICE OF WENDY

The Vapour trench ran all the way around that mountain. Orbin leapt clear over the 30m wide trench; it was deep. Orbin landed safely on to the other side, it was effortless to him. The unicorns carrying the girls flew over the trench gracefully. On that other side of that trench was the sanctuary for lesser animals: The herbivores. The Hobitoes looked like squirrels that hopped like mini kangaroos; a group of Hobitoes hopped in a throng over to Orbin, they were about 7 of them. They were his pets, they seemed pleased to see him. They made pleased purring sounds like cats. Unfortunately, he had no treats for them but that did not stop them from rubbing themselves against his massive legs.

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

The Devourer was not at the end of its hunt yet. They followed it and witnessed its next two deadly catches. Finally, when the day started to cool in the afternoon, they saw the Devourer dive down into a tall tree and disappear from sight. The camera of the hover ship that was zoomed in on the Devourer sent an alert that it had lost its target. Tadashi and Hansuke simultaneously refocused the camera on the tree that it disappeared into, and slowed the hover ship down to a crawl. Before long, the Devourer was seen leaving the tree. Its beak and talons were free.

The Children of Thunder

The Children of Thunder

Where there is man, there must surely be carrion to feed on. The vulture banked, wings effortlessly guiding it through the rocky crags, searching a place to perch in waiting. At last, settled on a tree stump overhanging a great rock, it sat, observing the humans below. Suddenly, a guttural sound sent it leaping off the rock in a surprised squawk and away it went flying, forcefully evicting Omotola from its body in the process.

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

The moist surface squished under the impact, a sound that turned my stomach. “Bloody snake?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. “Do you know where we are?” I searched the darkness for something—anything—that would give me an answer. The faint light of the worms revealed nothing but the same fleshy expanse I had seen before. Then, something caught my eye. Two worms had stopped crawling. They faced each other, their mouths opening wide like serpents ready to devour prey. Before I could react, the larger worm lunged, swallowing the smaller one whole. Its body doubled in size instantly, wobbling as it digested its meal before shrinking back to normal.

Tidal Souls

Tidal Souls

But, Owen would never hurt his daughter. Shuddering, she stared at the injured red octopus squirming in her hands. Her father observed as she carried it to a deep tidal pool, hopping nimbly over coraled rocks. The red octopus had a sharp beak and may be inclined to bite and then spit venom on the wound. Humans shouldn't carry octopi, but Galene seemed to be the exception. Sometimes, the marine life knew she was a rescuer. Other times, she felt their terror. This little fella needed help with two missing tentacles. She'd found him in the sand, discarded by a fisherman who'd probably wanted to use the creature as bait.
