He smirked, and his gaze traveled over me in a way that made my skin crawl. “Bet she’s even better up close.” Another man chuckled darkly. “She’s got that scared look. Makes it even sweeter.”

They were wild with their only want and need being blood. They were thirsty for one at the moment and it was mine. Saliva dripped down their mouths and their mouths were wide apart that their fangs were on full display— looking way sharper than the ones of any wolf that I’ve seen. I swallowed thickly but Nina didn’t cower. She seemed interested in whatever was about to happen. “Are you crazy? They’re already calculating the chunk of my flesh that they’d dig in first. We can’t take them down alone, why are you even excited?” I asked her.

I wanted them so badly it scared me. I slipped into the bathroom and turned on the shower. Hot water ran over my bare skin. My hands moved slowly, imagining they were not mine. I pictured Julian behind me, whispering dirty things in my ear while Marcus watched with those dark eyes. My fingers brushed over my breasts and lower. A soft moan escaped before I could stop it.

I couldn’t want this.
