Oh You're Approaching Me Novels & Stories

Kaylee’s Pov I went back to my seat and just sat down, I was thinking of another way to approach him. Approaching him when he’s with some other person is a bad idea so I want to approach him when he’s probably alone. I noticed that he was chatting so I walked towards his direction and while I was approaching him a young man walked up to me.

Then, I approached. “Hi…” I said, my words slurring slightly from behind him. Perhaps my voice wasn’t loud enough. The bar was alive with chaos. Everything around me faded as my gaze locked onto the man who was a few metres from me. I moved closer, feeling both bold and reckless as I tried to balance my footsteps and my staggering steps.

The excitement and joy will come later “How are you?” She says as I step aside and let her in. As soon as she walks past me I get the urge to pull her to me. I want to feel her near to me. Again I hold back and let everything play out naturally. I remind myself over and over not to do anything to freak her out.

This is really weird. Who looks for a particular model for so long? Aren't there other people applying? I'm freaking out a lil bit but I stay calm to see where this is going before I say anything. Then, he stands up and approaches me which does nothing but raise alarm in my head. "Please don't come any closer". I said with a firm tone although I was quivering inside. These past months have taken a toll on me. The door flies open, thankfully revealing Lawrence with a not so good expression on his face

If I try to, I'll need to get ready for war. Me: Crap, isn't there a way around it? NH: Well, if you could get to the outskirts of the city, I can pick you up. Is that possible? Me: I'll try to get there as soon as I can, it's pretty crazy where I am right now. Okay, please try to reach out to me quickly. I'm worried about you. I will, thank you. I love you. I hesitated for a couple of moments before I typed back.

"Come here." I moved closer to him. "Closer." I moved even closer until there was only a short distance between us. "Closer, please."

I stuttered out. He nodded taking a step closer to me, until he towered over me, "I've come to claim your offer"

"I miss you so much, darling," I whispered, hardly audible. "I feel like kissing you right now," I added, my tone having an odd quality, verging on confession. Anticipation clung in the stillness all around us, the kind of omen that suggested it was hammering within every nerve of my being. I could almost visualize Arrow just beside me, his lips a hair's breadth from mine, his breath humid against my skin.

“You keep saying that like you’re trying to convince me.” I take a step close to him, and then another, until I’m close enough to see the shift in his breathing. “Or convince yourself.”

“For you.” I took another step closer, not rushing her but not giving her the illusion of distance either. “Only for you.” There was no smile or any attempt to make it sound lighter than it was because it really wasn’t.
