We all said in unison. He lets out a heavy breath. “We have two oracles in our pack that just recently came in to their powers. They have told me they have seen an impending war coming our way. They can’t tell me why or when it’s starting let alone who is behind it. If anything, I think that is the reason behind the breach today.” “Why didn’t you tell us this sooner?” Asked Sean, the lead warrior. “I planned on it but I wanted to talk to them a little more first but things came up and I wasn’t able to.”

Men like this heroic young healer. "I am the last of my kind mate," the teen boasted, ignoring the danger he was in by sharing this information. "I swapped teams, init?" he said, puffing out his small chest. His frame was small and angelic looking, but his aura reeked of cruelty. He told tales of his exploits, revelling in the glory of the pain he had caused in the name of an old god. A god named technology - the oldest of all the gods. "I am the technical GOD - he explained - blagging to the real GOD of CODE.

"And Veda... she brought the others back from the brink with nothing but simple heat and the old ways. If the Council used science to tie these knots, maybe the old magic is what we need to cut them." Jax’s breathing began to level out, though he still looked as if he were carved from ice. "Veda," he repeated. The name of the ancient pack elder acted like a cooling balm on his frayed nerves. Veda wasn't a medic; she was one of the Old Ones, a permanent fixture on the Elder Council. She had seen the rise and fall of Alphas for more generations than most cared to count. While the world moved toward computers and synthetic splicing, she remained anchored in the primal truth of their kind. Even

The old gods were watching. First, they sent a plague. But my immortal body was immune. Then they sent famine, and the humans suffered twice. Finally, they sent a champion. A warrior of light, blessed with strength and speed. They were the instrument of my doom. Leading an army of mortals, the battle was legendary. Legions of my followers lie dead. Legions more had fled. Humans were in an uproar, murdering whatever of my kin they found.

A jolt immediately went through my whole body. “What… what can I do…?” “What can you do…? Not only you are covered with wounds all over— what’s more, I can’t heal you with my magic. Your only choice, child— is to pray to the celestial gods.” “Celestial gods…?” I find myself to be sneering— I wondered why. “To whom? Your ancestor Loki? Or his parents— Fárbauti? Or Laufey? Or should I pray to you since you are the descendant of a celestial god?”

Burned forests breathed once more. The poisoned rivers cleared. Even the wind felt different. Gentler. Warmer. Alive. But directly ahead— the horror still stood. Smaller than before. Its endless darkness had been stripped away layer by layer until its true form finally revealed itself. It wasn't the towering god everyone feared. It wasn't the endless monster from ancient legends. It looked... old. Very old. Its body was covered in countless cracks leaking golden light from within, as though the weapon had already begun tearing it apart from the inside.

As we approached, we noticed the worry etched on his weathered face, mirroring our own concerns. The old man greeted us with a mix of trepidation and reverence. "Alpha Xavier, Queen Uriah," he began, his voice tinged with concern. "I have felt the disturbance in our realm. The gods are restless, and their anger reverberates through the very fabric of our existence."

There were also a few books on magic and the occult, their pages filled with strange symbols and diagrams. Cole's grandfather had clearly been a man of knowledge, a seeker of hidden truths. Lila wondered what he had been like, what secrets he had uncovered in his long life. She opened one of the books at random, her eyes falling on a passage about the Old Ones. It described them as ancient beings of immense power, creatures of shadow and darkness that had existed since the dawn of time. They were drawn to places where the veil between worlds was thin, and they sought to exploit those weaknesses for their own purposes.

His spirit became the seven orthodox Gods, and His knowledge gave birth to humanity. It was said that during ancient times the various Gods and Goddess walked across the land. It was also called the Age of the Gods. Many Gods and Goddess perish in that time, some loses their authorities. Only the present six orthodox Gods was left. Ancient time was called War between the Gods. Many races strive since ancient time, some went hiding, some went missing and some have perished. It was unknown if the legendary creatures are still alive in the present. Isn’t funny? Even Gods can escape death, the destruction, the annihilation.
