And before Professor Harlan sets eyes on his uncle’s face for the first time in over a decade, he hears the man’s voice: “Ben.”

At last the man turns.
Professor Harlan’s brow furrows, just barely. The man looks different than he remembers, but simultaneously almost the same. The same features are there, poignantly recognizable, but aged, grayed where facial hair has grown.
“You’ve changed,” Professor Harlan manages breathily.
“You haven’t,” Luke says, unable to hold back a grin. “A little, I mean. Of course you have; a bit,” he continues, taking steps to close the distance. “But so much of you is just as I remember.”
