Novel & Cerita Old Queen Athena

’’ The ancient oracle instantly narrowed out the noble with her words, her tone sharp. ‘’N-No...’’ ‘’I have undoubtedly confirmed the mate bond between your majesty, and Athena Lancaster, her majesty, the new Luna Queen.’’ She turned away from the fretting noble to the Alpha King. ‘’This is the sacred altar of her Moon Sovereign. Any political dispute should be taken beyond these grounds.’’ She warned, her words revealing the unspoken tension among the nobles. ‘’Of course, ancient oracle.’’ The Alpha King calmly accepted her warning without looking offended.

Goddess of wisdom, war and the crafts, and favorite daughter of Zeus, Athena was, perhaps, the wisest, most courageous, and genuinely the most creative of the Olympian gods. Zeus was instructed that his son would take his throne from him, just as he had taken energy from his father Cronus. Accordingly, when Metis used to be pregnant, he swallowed her and Athena used to be born from Zeus' head, sporting armour and entirely grown. A famous theme in ancient Greek art, Hephaistos is frequently depicted in the position of midwife, splitting Zeus' head with an axe. Athena was once as well, responsible for the bad fortune bestowed upon Athena. Athena was accountable for the transformation of Medusa

Athena had already accepted everything thus she couldn't withdraw and go back on her words. Besides, it was rare for a person to have two identities so she took it without hesitation because she found it favorable on her side now that she was aiming at something. She got plans and being ZENITH MONROE is a good counter for those who loathed her as Athena Stanford.

The herd of braying, red-faced men all moved to offer him handshakes and pass their regards. Athena realised she had stopped still as she watched him progress through the crowd and tried to occupy herself with something other than staring. She coolly observed his short black hair, dark eyes, and a strong jaw that the sparkle of youth could not render severe. Baron Oliver made his way to Henry Lupton, the eldest son of her employers. He was tall with the same ice blue eyes as his sister Octavia. Athena was thankful Henry had not entertained her presence in the house with any flirtation. Lady Lupton had observed her movements like a hawk, constantly on the watch for impropriety.

I tell her, crossing my arms in disdain. Mom chuckles, shaking her head. She looks at Alec, her eyes a little sad, but he shakes his head. “Athena is the eldest, and she is going to be an amazing Alpha. We’re going to have badass all female leadership in this pack, and I’m proud as hell to support them!” He says fiercely, but I know she is thinking what I am.

“So, with your marking, what gave it away as a marking from Athena? Aren’t there several gods and goddesses of war?” She turned her back to me and pulled the collar down so that I could see the top part of her marking, the hilt of the sword. “See those two owls depicted on the hilt? Well, that’s Athena. She always has two owls accompanying her, which is the symbol of her other well-known trait.” “Wisdom…” “Bingo.” I suddenly understood why she walks with such quiet confidence, why her presence commands attention without effort. Her marking was not just a symbol; it’s a reminder that she is more than what she appears: a force of nature, a weapon of divine will.

Her eyes burned with fury, and disgust. "You sent me leftovers." Her voice trembled with humiliation. "I am the former Luna of this pack. The Alpha's mother. How dare you treat me like this?" Athena chuckled softly. "So that's what this is about." She walked closer before crouching in front of the older woman. "You should be thanking me." A dangerous smile spread across her lips. "You discovered my secret. Yet I still allowed you to live." She tilted her head. "I even make sure you receive food every day."

The metal felt warm against my skin, pulsing with an energy that seemed to flow directly into my bloodstream. Then I heard it. A voice, clear and powerful, speaking directly into my mind. "Finally, my daughter. You have awakened the strength that has been sleeping within you." My eyes flew open, scanning the empty hospital room frantically. "Who's there? Who said that?" The voice came again, gentle but commanding. "I am Athena, the Goddess of Justice and Wisdom. I have been waiting within your family's sacred necklace for generations, waiting for a woman brave enough to claim her power."

“You see. She has the same power as Daphne.” The old man stood slowly. His eyes were fixed on me. “Are you truly her daughter?” “Yes,” I said. He stared at me for a long moment. Athena’s power hummed beneath my skin. Finally, he spoke. “Fine. Come with me.” He turned to the guard. “Gather the whole pack. Tell them to come to the main hall. And bring the sacred stone.” My stomach flipped. Sacred stone? Athena went still. This is important.

The next day, as Alina and Alaric walked side by side through the palace grounds, Athena stirred within Alina. "Alina," Athena's voice resonated in her mind. "I smell poison. It's faint, but it's definitely here." Alina stopped, her eyes widening. "Athena smells poison," she said while turning to Alaric. "We need to follow her guidance." Alaric nodded. "Lead the way, Alina. We need to find the source of this." Following Athena's guidance, they made their way to the old water tower on the palace grounds. The structure had been there for centuries, providing water for the palace and its inhabitants. As they approached, Athena's sense of urgency grew stronger.
