Deceived Souls of the Past

Deceived Souls of the Past

Like they would represent the four points of the compass. She grabs my hand and pulls me inside. On the left side of the room, there is a big bookshelf with many books, below it, there is a bed built into the shelf. Then beside it one of the windows, beside it a fireplace with a little table with three armchairs around it. On the table full of biscuits, cakes, so many sweets, and two mugs of hot chocolate. That's when I realized I don't feel the temperature. It's not cold, nor warm, there is no wind either. Hmm, so strange...

I know you heard me. 'Yes, I heard it.' I said to him. 'I am now reading the book I got from the restricted section of the library. There is something about this book, titled The 12 Sinners: The Demon's Souls. I think there is something here we can use to defeat them. Who knows, I will start here. Just enjoy them first, dude.' I heard Hunter's voice in my head. He is talking to me. I nodded my head even though he couldn't see me.

The Third Book

Cela remains disappointed. "C'mon. It's not like they bought everything. They just thought of giving the books as Christmas presents apart from the corporate giveaways. You must know that your mother enjoyed your first book so much. Too bad that she passed before the second one is out," Nanny Rita continued. "You've always been loyal to her," Cela said.

HOLY HOTS

HOLY HOTS

The older lady patted her shoulder lightly while returning the smile then headed back to her business leaving Amy behind. "Where do I start from?" Confused Amelia whispered. "What kind of Christian books would be less boring?" She exhaled deeply while her fingers traced through the books on the shelf. “‘Ahaha!” exclaimed confused Amy as she picked out a book from the shelf. “What could this be about?” wondered Amy while she read the synopsis of the book in her hand. She read out in an undertone, “Filled with faith and inspiration, Break Out will challenge you to build a new prespective, let nothing hold you back…” Nodding her head in concurrence to the words she read, “ hmmmmm…. I certainly

The Seventh Life Of The Soulbound Villainess

Soul Sight: a rare hereditary ability, manifesting in early childhood in those with a predisposition toward soulbound recognition, enabling the perception of— The text had been damaged after that. Water-warped. I had spent two weeks trying to find another copy and failed. But I didn't need the text to understand what I'd seen. Golden threads running from my chest to his. Longing in the space between them, vast and old and inexplicable. The knowledge arriving not as a thought but as a fact: he is mine.

(BoyxBoy) Bound to the Alpha who kills his Mate

(BoyxBoy) Bound to the Alpha who kills his Mate

If my handjob sucked, then I had to make it better, learn the best way to treat a cock, and whip him up with something he’ll never forget. “Noah”—his moans played in my head as I searched the shelf for something helpful. [The Faith of the Dragon Lair] [How to kill a dragon] [The Art of Fireflies] [An Omega’s Journal] My finger paused at the last book, “An Omega’s Journal.” It sounded intriguing and also felt like it was written from experience. I pulled the book out of the shelf, dusting it off and removing the particles in search of the author’s name. No name, no copyright claims… Who would leave something this private in a library?

MOONBOUND SECRETS

MOONBOUND SECRETS

Later that evening, I find Silas and Selene in the library, their heads bent over an ancient tome. “What are you two up to?” I ask, leaning against the doorframe. Silas looks up, his golden eyes glowing faintly. “We’re learning. Daddy said we need to understand our powers.” I step closer, peering at the book. The pages are filled with intricate runes and illustrations of wolves bathed in moonlight. “The Solara Chronicles,” I murmur, tracing the faded text. “Where did you find this?” “Daddy gave it to us,” Selene says, her voice soft. “He said it’s important.”

The Unveiled Soul

The Unveiled Soul

Sighing with relief, Percival said, "I'm so happy." "Why?" "Because all is well. Isn't it?" "Yes. Everything is perfect." Looking into each other's eyes, they both fell silent. "I have a present for you," Adelard said and held out some books. "What is it?" "Read it." "No way! These are Magdalena Mars's last books! The very ones she decided not to publish!" "Yes. They are. And they want to be yours." "It can't be!" "Thank you for everything," Adelard said again.

M.Z. Mauve
seems like an interesting read. the opening chapters and prologue had tension and some good descriptive imagery. just be sure to proofread the narration to get rid of minor punctuation errors (mostly in parts with dialogue) and to improve sentence structures. overall, intriguing plot

The story seems interesting, but I noticed sentences in the past and in the present on the same paragraph. It was hard to concentrate in the story with those changes. Needs a few corrections with this, but overall, a nice read.

Devourer of Souls

Devourer of Souls

“What the hell is going on here?” My rasping voice only accentuated the strange, forlorn silence of my home. Nothing made any sense. Nothing seemed or felt real. Hadn’t, really, since we’d discovered those two dead dogs and that altar in the clearing, and especially since yesterday morning . . . When I’d seen that damned book at The General Store. The book I’d apparently bought in a fugue state and then read multiple times without remembering anything. The book that . . . I opened my eyes, looked down and—feeling very little surprise—saw The King Wears Yellow sitting open before me on the den table.
