Just what kind of torture did they go through for them to be like this? I wished Archer was here. Ronan looked up to him. I’m sure he could pacify Ronan easily since he inherited Dad’s personality. Archer was the kindest and the most responsible among us. But he could also be the most domineering and authoritative when he wanted to discipline someone. And the recipient of that disciplinary action was often Earl who was the most playful among us. Whenever Archer would talk, it was impossible for a person not to listen to him, including Earl. My eldest brother had that kind of magic. I really wished I could have even a bit of that magic so I could help Ronan.

“You’ve only seen the surface and now you’re amazed?” Hearing this almost made my blood scream from the inside. The boiling point of my own blood rose from a challenge I had once sought and fought mightily. As much as I wanted to disagree, Ron was right. I still couldn't believe the reality of someone offering a life just to prove loyalty. Whatever his ways, there was something I should be looking forward to with Elder Ron. This man revealed more than what I could see. He was born to hunt prey. He was born to be bowed to by the lesser wolves.

“Silly kid, I’m your Grandpa. Of course, I’m worried about you. Unlike your siblings, you’ve gone through a lot since you were a kid. Sigh…” “Are you sure you want to hide it from Xyla?” Ron continued, “She’ll find out about it anyway.” “Let’s just hide it for now. At least she’s happy that way, right?” Stanley added, “You should get some rest, Grandpa. It’s getting late.” Sighing once more, Ron got up from the couch and went upstairs. Stanley did not follow him. He reached for the teapot on the coffee table and poured himself a cup of osmanthus tea, elegantly savoring it.

When they did enter the house, they saw Ron's parents. They saw Ron's father first, the man was sitting on a couch in the living room. The man had aged drastically since Sarah last saw him and seeing him for the first time in six years, Sarah noticed how grey hair was all that was left on the man's head, only a few strands of hair on his head were black. His face was wrinkled but he looked good, he was still a handsome man despite being so aged.

Rachel “I can’t believe he’s going to start kindergarten tomorrow.” I sighed and leaned against the counter. “Can you believe how big he’s gotten?” Taylor wrenched the refrigerator door open and rummaged around. She returned with two cans of iced tea and a tub of ice cream. Wordlessly, she pulled out two spoons and handed me one. “Yeah, I can’t believe it either. Our little Ron is all grown up.” “I’m not little,” Ron protested from his spot in the living room. He glanced over at us, blonde hair tousled to the side and his blue eyes full of annoyance. “I’m five now, remember?”

He suggested they seek out Elder Rowan, the oldest and wisest of the werewolves, a keeper of ancient lore, whose knowledge spanned centuries. Elder Rowan lived in seclusion, deep within the Whispering Woods, a place shrouded in mist and mystery, where the veil between the worlds felt thin. The journey was perilous, the path treacherous, but the potential reward—unlocking the secrets of their past—outweighed the risks. Lyra and Ronan, accompanied by a small group of trusted warriors from different packs, embarked on their quest.

Kelcie would scream and jump whenever she got to the finish line first which was all the time. We hoped we'd instill the idea that she could always win as long as she tried. I must say Ron was rather very supportive in that respect. In honesty, Ron and I weren't the best of lovers when we were together. He was the son of restaurant owner and businessman Ronald Mason II, so he wasn't from a lowly home plus I admired him greatly when we were younger.

old Master Gerald said, but his face was full of smiles; the happiness in his eyes couldn't be concealed. “If you are worried about your wrinkles, they are barely visible. If grandfather drinks these herbal tonics and takes the supplements regularly, you would be looking so young in no time, and people might even think you're Morgan's twin.” I said and saw the old man frown at my words and then turn to look at me gently. “That stubborn grandson of mine, is he still giving you a hard time? He is so old but doesn't want to get married.” He sighed and patted the back of my hand affectionately.

Judging by his clothes and hairstyle, I guessed it was taken in the late sixties or early seventies. "That was Ron. Ronald Gordon. A playwright. A real talent, sadly forgotten today. He's long gone now. Cancer took him from us in '78, tragically young. I suppose it was a mercy he never saw the devastation of the plague years. But he was the love of my life." I had never even imagined Professor Ryan having a love life, let alone a gay one. "I never guessed," I confessed sheepishly.

‘In that way, even his younger sisters will be older than me. “Now, get ready quickly instead of using your mind unnecessarily.” “But you didn’t answer my question. How did you manage to wake me this soon?” Ethlyn questioned. “One of my uncles, Uncle Oliver, is too good with the herbs. So, he keeps inventing medicines and poisons for us to fight against our enemies.” Calvin replied, shrugging his shoulder. “Uncle Oliver….umm.. Isn’t he the Werewolf King, Oliver Weasley, Mate of Rebecca Cornell?” Ethlyn asked.
