Oliver Wood Quidditch Novels & Stories

"I'm sorry I failed, Countess Fiona! We lost him." Oliver is on his knees with the rest of his team in front of Fiona who has been sitting beside Rowan's unconscious body lying on the bed. He's just like that day after day without any changes as if he's nothing but a showpiece.

Oliver’s POV I liked Ava. She had always been my first and closest friend. I’m Oliver Ronald, an imperceptible nerd at school. I had no friends, and I preferred living alone, studying, and residing on campus without the company of others. Nobody wanted to be a nerd’s friend anyway. I wasn’t interested in being friends with anyone either.

“Again? Don’t bother. It’s good that you have Leonard. He can take you on rides as much as you want.” Miriam pouted, and took her face to the other side as a sulking child would. But Olivera wasn’t bothered. She wasn’t going to be a beast of burden to a grown ass woman. ‘It’s not that deep.’ Olivera knew, but she ignored the duo and looked around their surroundings again. It was back to business. “Do you perceive the taint of magic?” She asked again, noting that Miriam had noticed her swift change of mood to seriousness.

Oliver is putting all of his weight into Kota’s chair, holding him down and sliding us completely into the corner and smashing me between the thin sharp plastic. I cry out but don’t stop the incantation. Oliver looks at me worried, I just shake my head, we can‘t worry about me right now, I will heal, they need the focus right now. I can’t let go of their arms, but I have enough magic flowing now to keep Cam in his seat although he is doing a good job fighting me.

Willow signed again, telling Olivia to stay away from Jacqueline, for there was something off about her. Olivia nodded. "You should be careful, too." Willow shook her head, signing, "Mom, I'm not scared." She used to follow Wendy everywhere, and Wendy cared about her a lot. Wendy had cast a protection spell on her so that curses wouldn't come near or touch her. But Olivia was different. Olivia was an herb-imbued person, and she was immune to many toxins. However, she wasn't immune to curses and spells.

Olivia looked at Soloman and said, "It's too painful; I can't stand it. I want to use my blood to break it." She then turned to Oliver, "Oliver, you should try it too. How can you endure this pain for ten days to half a month? And Mr. Soloman is Mr. Gabe's senior. Mr. Gabe is the mystic employed by Harper Entertainment, not some fraud." Oliver looked up to see Joey subtly shaking his head at him. He then said, "You go first. I'll think about it." Olivia resolutely took the fruit knife from the table, cut a small incision on her finger, and squeezed a few drops of blood onto the center of the compass.

The girl he swore to protect. The forest floor was churned into mud, leaves smeared with blood. Oliver’s chest was rising and falling as he stood over Reed, whose face was almost a bloodied bag, his robes ripped and stained. Oliver, despite being in his human form, had fought with a strength that surprised even himself. He'd given Reed no time to cast his spells, relentlessly closing the distance, a whirlwind of fists and feet. Reed sputtered, coughing up blood. “You… you think you’ve won?” he croaked, his voice a ragged whisper.

I felt Oliver licking the wound to seal it, but he did not let go of me. “You are all witnesses. I present Luna Helena. Queen of the Lycans.” Oliver smiled and within the blink of an eye loud applause and howls erupted from the Lycans. I was shocked that they were all so happy about it! Oliver lifted his hand to silence them and smiled at me for a moment before returning his attention to the werewolves on the ground.

And something about that terrifies me more than anything else. Because Zane thrives on being the best. And Oliver? Oliver just stepped into his world and lit a match. When the whistle blows at the end of the scrimmage, Oliver’s jersey is soaked through with sweat. His hair clings to his forehead. His chest rises and falls with sharp, even breaths. Coach Hall claps once. “Number seventeen. Name?” “Oliver Reyes,” he calls back. “You played before?” “Varsity in high school.” The coach nods slowly, then looks toward Zane. “What do you think, Captain?”

“Moreover, we have all our life to know about each other, right? Uncle Oliver.” “Right? A relationship is like a fine wine if tended properly, and it just gets better with age.” Oliver agreed. “My mate didn’t mention it, but it seems like you all know her very well.” Artemis pointed out casually. “That’s true. I have known her all my life.” Oliver answered, knowing very well what exactly he had to answer. “Actually, I was… well, not was; I’m close to her mother since her mother was born.” “Oh, wow!” Artemis exclaimed, not expecting this long relationship between his mate and Oliver Weasley.
