He rested his forehead against my shoulder, tightening his arms even more.
“Arthur, you’re hurting me,” I gasped, releasing the last of my breath.
“Sorry,” he said unexpectedly, stepping back.
That foolish grin returned to his face, and oddly enough, I felt lighter.
“So, where are we going?” he asked.
