Omega Alternative Crossword Novels & Stories

Elder Zac continued, “he will no longer hold the title of Alpha. He will return to the rank of a normal pack member. An omega, if necessary.” My eyes widened. An omega? That’s the lowest rank in a pack. Omegas were not too respected and they were far from being leaders. They were treated more like helpers, sometimes even ignored. That’s crazy, I thought to myself. Was that even allowed? Could a whole Alpha be reduced to an omega? That seemed too harsh. I had only ever heard rumors of something like this happening, of alphas being stripped of their rank but I had never actually seen it happen. I never thought it could happen to someone like Kaden.

"In front of each of you, there is a sheet and a brush. You will outline the most appropriate course of action for the given problem. The participant with the best response will win this round." "Does that peasant even have the ability to read or write?" a brunette, dressed in layers of elegant tulle, whispered to her friend, who giggled and cast glances at Hailey. Hailey wasn't offended. Why would she be? Such remarks had been commonplace throughout her life. It was a widespread belief that Omegas were incapable of understanding even basic concepts. As Luna Renesme began to read the question from the scroll, Hailey picked up the brush and dipped it into the inkpot.

I opened the door to find a woman wearing a purple dress and was accompanied by someone. "Who are you supposed to be and what are you doing here?" She pushed me and entered the house and I was so tempted to just leave this house and never come back. The collar on my neck still stands and I can’t open it. A collar is a mark of ownership, especially for an omega. When an omega wears a collar that usually means that they belong or are claimed by someone. There was a sharp decline in the population of omegas in the recent decade. That’s why the government revised the laws and eliminated some of them which weren’t in favour of the omegas.

She cried, pouting her lips and frowning like a little brat. “In that case, a trial will be heard, and if she is found guilty, she will be stripped of her she Wolf status and become a low-rank omega.” Alpha Evan declared. He did not like to be challenged, and it was obvious that he did not wish to be made a fool of either.

omega. I stopped walking and froze on the spot, eyes glued to the paper. It wasn't alpha. Not beta. It was damn fucking omega. Everything disappeared in my eyesight. Even the paper went dark. The word 'omega' enlarged in my vision. O M E G A. The word rang in my head.

The symbols moved, rearranging into words,a prophecy written in fire: *When the moon is dark and fear is sown The scentless one will crack the stone No wolf, no pack, no home, no kin The lone omega walks alone within* *Power sleeps in fragile bones Waiting for the sacred tones When old mark meets living breath The spell will break, the bond will death* *Beware the one who should not be The key, the lock, the omega free When he wakes, all wolves will fall Mortality will claim them all* The words burned deep in Aeris’s mind.

I've neither heard of nor seen a grey wolf! There are black wolves which are the Alphas. And then there are other coloured wolves from shades of brown or hybrids of colours. There are white wolves who were granted some healing power, but a grey wolf? I've never known it'd be possible... maybe I am special! Gosh! Who am I even kidding? A special Omega, that's unheard of! 'Hera.' my wolf whispers and something in me perks up at the mention of the name because I've heard that name before!

Another one waited in my pocket, just in case. Just in case, if you lose control, you’re dead. Publicly, this place was called the World Hockey Academy—a factory for champions, Olympians, prodigies. Cameras loved it. Sponsors poured money into it. Parents bragged about it. Privately, it was something else entirely. Alpha Academy. An institution built to break wolves and rebuild them stronger. A hierarchy carved in blood, sweat, and enchanted ice. The rink beneath my feet was warded to withstand supernatural force—so Alphas could hit harder, skate faster, and fight without restraint.

That’s the worst part—it's like they want me to suffer for something that wasn't even my fault to begin with. I just turned eighteen for Christ sake! I wasn't the one that rejected him, he was the one that rejected me. Why?! Why!? Because I'm apparently, I'm not Luna material. Spoiler alert, I've been omega all my life. How can an omega from birth suddenly be Luna material? Define Luna material! “She’s not even that pretty.” Another girl says and I hear Elara's faint chuckle. “She’s… sweet, I guess," she says, "but the Alpha needs power. Not some soft-hearted little Omega.”

“They’re special.” ‎ ‎Her fingers stiffened at first, then relaxed, and I saw her blush deepen. Her lips quivered into a shy smile that made my chest tighten. ‎ ‎“You know one funny thing?” I asked, leaning closer. ‎ ‎“No… tell me,” she replied, curiosity sparkling in her eyes. ‎ ‎“Omegas always come with a special ability,” I said, holding her gaze, my voice low and intense. ‎Her brow furrowed. “I’m confused… Can you shed more light?”
