On Java Road Novels & Stories

{Mac Allister} The scorching sun beat down on the tar road, its rays casting an unforgiving glare. With a sense of urgency, I voiced my concern to Bruno about not missing the designated track. He focused on the map displayed on the phone screen, navigating our way through the bustling traffic.

I unlocked the door and climbed out, staying in the shadows. "Look who showed up!" Zane yelled. He clapped Roman on the back. "I didn't think you’d have the guts to put your car on the line, Reed." "Just tell me the route, Zane," Roman said. "And make sure the money is in the bag." "The route is the Devil’s Tail," Zane said. He pointed toward a narrow road that went right along the edge of a cliff. "Winner takes the pot. But there’s a catch."

When we entered the giant gate, there was a signboard. It was read 'Welcome to Saltyville Village – Saline Road'. Saline Road looked like the main road to enter Saltyville. However, the road conditions are muddy. I got to understand why these people insist on using Santos's car. From a distance, I could see the extra-high-voltage overhead line.
