Road To Valhalla Novels & Stories

“They’re really easy to use. I’ll show you how.” “Okay, great, then give them to your vampires to use.” Zael goes quiet, a small frown on his face. “Alhora says the convoy just left. They’re taking a back road into the mountains.” “Well, of course they are. They don’t want to get spotted. How many cars?” “Four SUVs and about thirty trucks.” I pull out a map of the area. “Which road?” Alhora lands next to us. Where the hell did she come from so suddenly. “This one,” she says, and places her finger on the map, pointing out a narrow strip of road. “It’s a dangerous fucking road, especially for humans.”

They grabbed my bags and loaded them in the Tahoe. I took the cigarettes out of my purse and threw them in the trash. Then I walked around the motel room to make sure we didn't leave anything behind. While Brodie and Deck had a deep discussion by the car. When Deck folded himself into my car I came out and waved bye then climbed in the Tahoe. I had no idea where we were going because Brodie had not mentioned anything besides saying check out was eleven-thirty and we needed to be out by then.

“We can get across the city in time.” Valkira raised her hand. “Stop.” Chris stopped and turned back. “Alpha?” he asked, frowning. “No car,” Valkira said. “The roads will be packed at this time of day. It’s already evening, and rush-hour traffic will slow us down.” Chris frowned. “We can cut through the traffic. The car is fast enough.” “Not fast enough to get us there in thirty minutes,” she snapped. Valkira went back to Helen and took both of her trembling hands.

And design required inspiration and source material. Lucian had bought the ruby she had set her sights on and given it to Nevaeh. She hadn't found a suitable replacement yet. That design was only half-finished. But for the landscape theme, this journey would be perfect for gathering inspiration and materials. The timing couldn't be better. Marisol gripped her camera tightly, staring at the endless road ahead. Sunlight fell across her delicate face and into her eyes, making them sparkle with golden light. Beside her, Zachary honked the horn with enthusiasm as the SUV roared to life. The black vehicle carried them forward, riding the wind as they surged onto this road known as the "Nirvana Roa

Both of the cars drove so fast heading to Surabaya with average speed of 80 km/hour which was faster than before. Moreover, the road condition was still quiet with not many people passing by. After 90 minutes passed by, both of the cars entered the Surabaya-Gempol toll road. It still took another 30 minutes to arrive at their destination. Suddenly without any notice, the ambulance carrying Rivan pulled over to the left road's shoulder. Dirman was so shocked and immediately stopped his car right behind the ambulance.

But the reality was not what he thought. The next town that Ruslan was referring to was more than a hundred kilometers away and had to be reached for several hours even by car. But what made Valentino even more inflamed was that the roads they took were quite difficult because not all roads were highways. Many of the roads he passed were still unpaved and there were still many stones and roads with potholes. Aryan, who took part in Valentino's trip, had even vomited twice because he couldn't stand the bumpy road. The man was now asleep in the front seat because he was very weak after the contents in his stomach were drained completely.

She had been all serious before leaving her home but then the moment they left it was as if something changed. “Will you please let me know what has gotten into you?” He asked her though his voice drowned due to wind rustling past them. Valencia was driving the bike through the dirt paved road that was riddled with roots, rocks, and uneven land. There was seldom a thing that surprised him and this odd riding fetish of Valencia was truly shocking. The mountain range known as the Burham mountains was visible from far away as it was a magnificent and big range of mountains. The peaks of the mountains were dusted with snow while varying shades of green were visible amidst the white.

It was a struggle to get him to take it off, but on the inside, Jake was proud that James had accepted club life so easily. Jenna wore her own property patched vest, tight jeans with boots, but none of them smiled or laughed. Dagger, along with six other Road Captains from other MC’s, led the way out of the parking lot and the Presidents followed next. Weasel rode right behind Jake and the rest of their clubs followed behind them. Roads were closed as they slowly winded their way through Reading to the cemetery. The rumbling of their bikes reverberated through the quiet streets, heads turning in their direction as almost a hundred and fifty bikes rode past.

Rough, scorching. "Get in, I'll give you a ride back." It was a modified Ford Raptor, its chassis ridiculously high, the whole vehicle a matte black, looking like an armored beast straight off a battlefield. The engine roared as we sped down Route 66. The wind was strong, carrying red dust. Jasper steered with one hand, the other holding a half-smoked cigar, casually resting on the open window. "See that dry river valley over there?" He pointed with his cigar to the red rock walls outside the window.

Chapter 10: Gryffen On the third day, they reached the edge of the chaos. The road descended into a wide, high valley—the approach to the Iron Pass. The difference was visceral. The neat fields were replaced by scorched earth. A crofter’s hut stood as a blackened skeleton. The air, once clean and cold, carried the faint, acrid tang of smoke. And there, ahead, where the valley narrowed into the mouth of the pass itself, was a scene of tense stalemate.
