Chapter 2: The First Full Moon The full moon hung heavy and blood-red in the night sky, casting an eerie crimson glow through the tall arched windows of the grand library in voss Manor. Monalisa sat curled up in a deep leather armchair, trying to focus on the old leather-bound book in her lap. The words blurred on the page.
