In his time as a True Crime writer, Byron had interviewed many people, many of them disturbed or troubled in some way. In these interviews, he would often run up against what he called The Breakdown, to the point where, due to the pressures of telling him their story a person would hit an unknown well of feelings and just… shut down, usually in a maelstrom of tears. They always recovered but it was at a point that Byron always hated, even dreaded.

Only one messaged from him and all my worries would be gone. “I hope he won’t get mad.” I whispered while staring the table out from the garden. Until now I couldn’t believe that our house was still the same. I thought Demir would let Laura lived here and changed everything. As I was about to stand the frame suddenly fell on the ground. My heart skipped in surprise to hear the loud bang and the broken pieces of glasses scattered on the ground. I was about to pick one of the broken glasses but it pinned on my fingers and so as my phone suddenly vibrated.

She said. He wanted to open his mouth but what she said made him rethink of his actions. 'I'll always protect you and make you happy for the rest of your life.' He remember saying those words to her, but he broke the promise. He love her so much, however he couldn't due to the hurt he caused to her. The hurt so powerful that overcome her love for him. He could've fixed it back, but after what he has done. He knew that there would be no chance on fixing her broken heart and promise.

My voice broke, a whisper now. “Maybe I don’t want it anymore.” Jace’s hand tightened gently on my arm, his eyes dark and unreadable. “Then don’t.” The words sliced clean through me, leaving nothing but silence in their wake.

He began to string the guitar that she didn’t know he knew how to play and when he opened his mouth and the melody came out. Tippa put her hand over her mouth as she gasped from surprise. She listens to him actually sing. One too many times my heart has crumbled on the floor, so I had to live without it. I was fine without it, after a while, I didn't miss it anymore.
