Once Upon A Witch's Death Characters Novels & Stories

she said in a whisper as she closed her eyes and breathed her last. “Mom,” Marissa cried as she hugged her mother’s dead body. Amelia and Adelia also broke down in tears and they were comforted by their mates. No one wanted Cara to die but there was nothing they could do. The remaining lycans and witches, all bowed their heads to show their respect for the witch and the wizard who had contributed immensely to them winning the war. The war was almost over as every one of the hydras and witches who supported Cornelius were all dead and it was time the leader finally died as well.

However the witches were still mourning the death of their sisters, they have lost a great amount of their own in this war including the leader of their coven who was the first witch sergeant Chriswell fired at and gunned down dead. “ Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! ” Lucian screamed as Damian snapped the remaining two claws. Damian wasn't still done with him he moved his hand forward to his chest grabbing hold of Lucian other claws ready to break them all. “ Cast the fucking spell!!!! Say the goddamn words nowww!!!! ” Lucian cried out for help and finally the witches came to his rescue. “ pitssxits quntiss ohma gradalax..... ” the 23 witches remaining started chanting.

Her words echoed in my mind, each one twisting deeper into my heart. She’s right.I thought of all the times I could have left, all the chances I had to walk away, but I was too selfish, too caught up in her beauty, in the life we could have had. I didn’t listen. And now, Seraphina is dead. Elysia’s hands trembled as she raised them, a dark aura swirling around her fingers. I felt my wolf stir, but before I could do anything, the magic hit me like a wall, knocking me to my knees.“No...” I gasped, trying to shift, to let my wolf take over, but the spell was too strong.

“Good job princess.” I looked around seeing others walking into the woods. One man, a tall slim man dressed all in a black robe was burning something in the fire. The smell seemed to be white. I don’t know why white was the word that first came to me, maybe pure. I looked up at Nikko, “Is he a witch?” Nikko looked down at me, “a warlock maybe. I don’t think he would take kindly to you calling him a witch.” He arched his brow, “why Samantha are you a witch?”

When I woke up, I was in an underground cell chained with silver, there was no means of escaping. I really wanted to see the face of my kidnapper. Who would dare attack an Alpha werewolf? I tried escaping from the chains, but they would not bulge and I was getting weaker and weaker. It was at that moment that I prayed for a miracle from the Moon Goddess if she would listen to my prayers. It wasn't long before the door rattled, and I was hopeful that it was someone who would rescue me. I thought wrong. It was my mate's Father, the leader of the witches coven. I was surprised to see he was behind my kidnapping.

Jackson and his friends waywardly went back inside the room and continued their ritual; it was only a matter of time before someone got a whiff of his this and went ahead and reported to the council. The witch council governed my old and arrogant wizards. It was almost midnight, and I needed to go home; I went back to the party in search of Christa, but she wasn't anywhere near the party grounds, and the more time I waited, the quicker everyone here got killed by the witch council ( the system).

Shunning a witch was taking all her magic and giving it back to their ancestors, and that was the worst thing to happen to a witch, I mean what a witch without her powers. "I killed the son of a great witch because he tries to rape me, so I had to run away, because the witch is after me, and all the witches will side with her" she explained, but she did not feel bothered about that "I don't want to know your story, I can feel you are a wolf and also a witch who is trying to get back to her park, but can't go with her powers, so let me help you," she said smiling. She surprised me with how well she knew my predicament and she did not appear harmful, if not she would have killed me by now.

Having not like the man since he’d accused my friend Mara of being a witch and taken her away. I never saw her after that. It was safe to assume that she’d died in WitchFall. Most do. I knew. It was a massive torture chamber where witches confessed to their sins. We watched the older man coming down off the hill from his towering fortress. His powdered wig and overly elaborate cravat carefully in place. “An evil one.” My eyes narrowed. “You only say that because of his pursuit of you.” “No. There’s something wrong with him.” I insisted. “Saria, you been saying this for years.” She groaned. “He’s the most powerful man in our village and the six surrounding.”

Mum wasn't the kind to go back on her words. If I was going to get rid of the bracelet, someone else had to help. “Well, if one person couldn't help me get it off, what about asking for the help of other witches, surely if they are in numbers they could pull it off.” “I strongly doubt that, witches have a code and many rules, no sorcerer will agree to cast such a spell, even if we could find one strong enough.” Another dead end, I wondered.

“When? While you were acting like a mad...” “Mom!” Young Xavier's voice pulls Xavier's attention; he releases my hand and runs towards him. Xavier disappears from view, and I am left surrounded by people fighting and dying. It’s complete chaos as two sides clash. Werewolves and witches exchanging blows. A couple of corpses lying on the ground from both sides, some of the wolves I’ve seen around in the last couple of months and others of the witches in cloaks.
