Beatrice tells Lucas and he uses it as blackmail to get Ember to help him overthrow Thorne and get dominion of the two packs. The story goes on with many more twists and turns, including the return of Miguel, Thorne's father who will pose as a repentant man meanwhile he has ulterior motives overthrow Thorne.
