In the Grip of king Roderick

In the Grip of king Roderick

The fragrant aroma of cinnamon and apples mingled with the earthy scent of fallen leaves, creating a sensory symphony that enveloped them. Cynthia nestled her head on Roderick's shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close. Their cheeks were rosy from the cool air, and they relished the comfort of each other's presence. "You know," Roderick said with a contented sigh, "there's something truly magical about autumn." Cynthia nodded, her eyes fixed on a pair of squirrels playfully chasing each other among the fallen leaves. "It's a season of change, of letting go and finding beauty in impermanence."

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

*** After the meal, Xyla held Jeremy’s hand and walked with him in the small garden behind the house. At the end of autumn, cool breezes abound. The air was peasant too. Some of the leaves on trees had already turned yellow. When a breeze blew over, some leaves gradually took flight and eventually fell to the ground. At first glance, the leaves looked like butterflies that came to life. On the path full of white cobblestones, golden leaves of Ginkgo trees were all over the ground. A large patch of golden leaves already covered the entire surface of the ground. It looked as beautiful as a dream…

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

My Twin Wolves

My Twin Wolves

Just as I walk out of sight I hear Jessie send a low growl through the link before I close it off. Peyton and I walk towards the tree line just making small talk. It is a crisp fall day and the view of the forest and the changing fall leaves are breathtaking. All of the reds, yellows and oranges make the trees look like they are ablaze with the different colors of Autumn. Mother Nature does some of her finest work this time of year and I absolutely love the crisp air.

The Last Alpha King - Mists of Time

The Last Alpha King - Mists of Time

The seven sisters still shone just as brightly as it did in my own time. It gave me a sense of peace, knowing that my friends and family, although several lifetimes apart, were looking up at the same stars as me. It made me feel connected to them in a higher way. Tonight, it was cold. Now we were nearing the end of September, Autumn had finally set in properly. The wind brought with it a chilling edge, and the once lush green leaves of the oaks were now littering the floor in the brightly coloured blanket of auburns and golden browns. The only signs of life were the bright green evergreen branches of the pines which made up the majority of the woodlands in these parts.

Can’t wait for book 2! Loved this story and the fact that there were no loose ends. Surely some minor typing errors were made, but that’s can be expected. I’ve made some of my own assumptions on some lines in the book and read along perfectly, while English is not my native language. Recommend it!!

I really like this book. I was reading it last night until 5am on a week day. it deserves more stars and gems. Good storyline, interesting charachters, no unnecessary complications in the style of 'it would make more sense to do this so I won't do it'.

The Alpha's Desire and the Dragon's Fire

The Alpha's Desire and the Dragon's Fire

My thoughts and current problems faded away. My focus was so completely on my drawing, I did not notice the door opening, or the footsteps coming up behind me. “You know, oaks are one of the last trees to shed their leaves in the winter.” Startled, I turned to find Thale looking down on me. His angular features were illuminated by the sinking sun, his frame almost glowing in the orange hue. I took a few moments before I responded. “I didn’t know that.” He nodded. “That’s why I had a lot of them planted in the grounds. I have a fondness for autumn colours, and they display them the longest.”

Night Wolves

Night Wolves

"So now, we wait." The sun was shining through the colored leaves, now changing colors from bright green to orange, red, and yellow. Some were even brown already. Leaves fluttered, floating gently in the wind and landing softly on the soft blanket of vibrant green grass. Fall was definitely here in the Oasis. Suddenly, the front door burst open, and a shifter came in, helping in another shifter. The shifter pressed what looked to be a wadded-up T-shirt into his side. "Over here!" I pointed to my station. "Bailey, I have this one."

The Next Lord Of The Central City.

The Next Lord Of The Central City.

trodden into the soft autumn mud, are as good as a signpost to those that pursue. In this first kiss of the autumn, with leaves blushed above, the acorns are as many hues as the morning sky. Above is the red, like God's holy fire, and below the tender colours of Mother Earth. The acorns sleep on the soft bed of the soil, tender greens, delicate browns that are almost cream and the ones that have begun to become the rich colour I love so much.

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

The despair kept pressing down. But then, a single, petrified leaf on a low-hanging branch began to change. The grey stone softened, taking on a faint, rusty red color. It was the color of an autumn leaf, just before it falls. The change spread. Branch by branch, tree by tree, the stone began to transform. The grey gave way to the rich brown of bark, the deep green of pine needles, the brilliant gold and red of autumn foliage. The moaning wind softened, becoming a gentle rustle of living leaves.

ALPHA KING DOMINIC'S DARKEST CLAIM

ALPHA KING DOMINIC'S DARKEST CLAIM

A cool breeze drifted through the open bedroom window, carrying with it the earthy scent of pine, damp soil, and leaves that had only recently begun surrendering to autumn. She pushed herself upright and padded barefoot across the room before stopping beside the tall window. The palace gardens stretched out beneath her, glowing beneath the soft light of the early morning sun. The flower beds remained vibrant, but the trees had begun their slow transformation. Here and there, patches of emerald leaves had turned brilliant shades of gold, amber, and crimson, painting the gardens with the first colors of fall. Every so often, a lone leaf drifted lazily through the air before settling onto one o

Love Died In Autumn

Love Died In Autumn

With each item I threw away, my heart grew colder. The sweeter those memories once were, the more they sickened me. It turned out every promise we had made was just a lie. After I finished clearing everything out, I took my suitcase and was ready to leave. However, someone suddenly called out from behind me. “Dylan, wait! Don’t go!” I turned and saw Clara and Jonah. Both were out of breath from chasing after me. They looked disheveled.
