One Library Search Novels & Stories

When I went to the library I searched for the book I needed so I could find out all the information I needed. I have reached the end of the search. Eventually I found what I needed. I was about to take it when suddenly I saw something shining at the very end. I went right away. As I approached I closed my eyes to too much light. But that did not stop me from getting the thing that was shining. Gradually the light gradually faded until the light completely disappeared and I saw that it was a book. It was a brown book. It just looks like an ordinary book. It's just that it has a strange symbol in the middle of it. I don't know but someone tells me here all the information I need.

the first one who spoke replied. "We won't!" I said with full of certainty. "We cannot let you do that!" After all, who are they to command me? I am Priam's child! I have to authority to search for his book. "W-Why would..." Emma whispered in shock. "...the information leaked too fast?!" She's right! Why would that happened? "We came here preserve such libraries as a part of our duty being librarian staffs." another one of them said. "Your searching can damage such libraries and books!" the last one uttered.

I grab the sticky notes and pen I snitched from Wesley’s office out of my pocket as I wake up the library catalog computer, then type in the keywords for the topics I’m researching. Hopefully, this search will be more fruitful than the internet search I did last night when I couldn’t sleep.

Adira added. Aurora was carrying out the request of Dominic to search the library, but she couldn't tell Adira that. Of course she could walk away without answering Adira's questions, but that would just raise more red flags. "What do you do in a library?" She turned the question against her. "To read books, I know. But you or anyone in the conclave never come here, so what changed?" "I came here to look for an important book, leave it at that Adira!"

Lou asked looking at Cash in an almost defiant manner. “How do you know the books are no longer here?” Cash asked as he flipped through the little card holder. “Let's just call it a hunch.” Lou said glancing at all the shelves around us. “If that is the case, there are only a handful of people who have access to this library without permission, and I will take care of them.” He turned to leave, taking one last flip through the rolodex before calmly setting it on the shelf. I started to wonder who was the wolf that played a hand in it.

Still, if they hadn’t managed to get any information out of him this long, then I highly doubted he was ever going to talk. Rather than focus on the pale-haired God haunting my lady parts, I began to scour the library in search of information. “Give me everything you’ve got on the Gods.” Books slid off their shelves, their pages flapping wildly as they took to the air. A tornado of them surrounded me, rustling my hair around my shoulders. One at a time, they fluttered down onto the tables, landing in a neat stack. CRACK!

Hope was resurrecting back into her, and her eyes were fixed on the laptop as he searched. “Nothing. This is strange; there is no entry for this book in the library.” Ariel couldn’t be fazed by the disappointment again. “I could try logging into the general database; they would surely have it.” “Hmm.” Ariel couldn’t have hope again; she knew how it was going to end, and she wasn’t surprised when the book was locked for consumption. “This is strange; we may be rogues, but we always have access to the general library, and all the books are free.” The poor boy had worry lines etched on his forehead, and Ariel shook her head.

I turned back to the attendant or librarian that hadn't left yet thankfully. "Sorry, it seems I am in above my head. I don't know exactly what I am looking for which is why I cannot tell you. Tell me how are the books organised?" She nodded, her expression unchanging. "By genre, author, date and relevance." I blinked looking at the library again not knowing how exactly that worked out. But according to genre… what would Magic and witches fall under apart from magic and witches? I turned back to the waiting attendant. "I want to see the History of the Southern Paw from as far back as you can find."

The State library system probably hadn't been upgraded since her Dad had been in school and it often sent students on wild goose chases for books that had been removed weeks before, or that were in a different place entirely, or that no longer existed at all. Daxton responds to my question. “Quinlan, can you run a few different searches to see if there is an older copy still out there?” I ask. No matter what he tries, he gets the same message over and over again: No Results. We even offer a few options and not one result appears. Darius and Quinlan decide to open the library on their tablets and open each book they can find. This is going to be a tedious job and I'm glad they're volunteering to do it, because I don’t have the patience for it.
