Lorenzo's POV On the day of the wedding, the entire Gallo estate was bustling with noise and excitement. I stood before the standing mirror, fingers stiffly buttoning up the last button on my suit jacket. This wedding was supposed to be mine and Susanna's, for us to become married with our friends and family as witnesses. It was supposed to be Susanna and me who received everyone's blessings. Yet, it had now become nothing but an extravagant, pretentious act that Elena and I were putting on.

I'm getting married. But Ryder, my boyfriend of seven years, has no idea. He recently hired a new assistant, Blair, and has been swamped ever since. She opened her mouth to speak but I didn't notice that and spoke over her. “Will you marry me Miss Odessa Vale?” She closed her mouth slowly and stared at the diamond ring in front of her. “Oh shit, I didn't kneel” I quickly got on one knee. Flowers of every kind, along with fairy lights and lanterns, were strung on the branches of the oldest and biggest majestic oak tree in the backyard, framing the stage and providing the perfect setting for a wedding. Aside from decorating the arch for the ceremony, the coven sisters also provided the little centerpieces placed in the middle of the tables. Making everything look perfect.
