Then we both walked towards our own cars.
At home, I took a shower and made something to eat. It wasn’t anything special or grand, just chicken bouillon soup and toast. When it was made, I took my soup and my toast to sit on my couch in the parlor. While eating, I was scrolling through the apps on my phone and decided to read a romance novel. I love reading how the characters fall in love. And since I don’t have a romantic life right now, living vicariously through the characters is the closest I can get to falling in love.
