You haven't answered me yet. Will you be my girlfriend?" One hand held red roses, the other an extravagant and sparkling pink diamond necklace, like a dual guarantee representing love and future. This was beyond anything that was written in romance novels. The young ladies in the coffee shop were excited, their faces flushed. Seeing this, they couldn't help but cheer in low voices, "Say yes, say yes!"

I would have heard stories about it”. “I’ll show them both that I’m not what they think of me”. “I’ll find a hot guy, make out with him and have sex with him”.

Crystal asked, a hint of amusement in her tone as she noticed Arielle stepping closer to her. Arielle leaned in slightly and whispered, “Grandmother has a… unique taste in horror movies.” Crystal chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. “That she does,” she replied. As Arielle’s gaze fell on the book in Crystal’s hands, her face lit up with rare excitement. “Maa, do you like historical romance?” she asked, her voice brimming with curiosity. Crystal tilted the book to show the cover and replied, “I like anything by this author.” She paused, taken aback by Arielle’s sudden enthusiasm.

She said. "Come on this is not a marriage proposal, do you think my marriage proposal will be as lame as this? I can be very romantic when I want to be you know." I said and she laughed. "You? Romantic? Okay tell me, how will your marriage proposal be?" She asked. "You'll only get to find out if you accept to date me now so do you?" I asked. "I told you so." She said. "What?" "I told you back then remember? You said you weren't ever going to fall in love, I told you that you will and I'll be here to say I told you so when that happens." She said and I laughed.

I’m damn proud of it, and I’m glad I didn’t give up after the first fail. I’ve discovered that I get into those fantasy stories where one person knows who his or her soul mate is upon meeting them, or even before that, as what happened in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, A Kinda Fairy Tale series by Cassandra Gannon, and many of the shifter books by Eve Langlais that I have loved so much. So that’s where I came up with the Love Mark idea.

As for what else I'm certain of; it's going to be a teen romance. I'm working on it, and have drafted up a short blurb already. Enjoy.
