“It must be a bunny or a small animal hiding here.” My inability to shift aside the hunting and chasing always excited Onyx. So, putting everything behind, I ran towards the disturbance. “We can keep a bunny as a pet!” Onyx was howling happily, finally enjoying something wholeheartedly. The sight of something furry exhilarated her. “It’s stuck here. Catch our prey, Liz.” As I reached the bushes, they were still moving, giving me an idea about the appropriate method. Removing my jacket, I stepped forward, praying in my heart.

He runs to find Hunter to come up with a plan. We spot Hunter's wolf fighting two other wolves. Onyx doesn't hesitate and jumps on top of the wolf just before it launches Hunter from behind and instantly sinks his teeth into the wolf's neck before ripping out his throat. Onyx turns around to see Hunter still fighting the other wolf and just when he runs up to help a loud alarm pounds through the air. It hurts my ears and all the wolves stop fighting. Onyx tries to cover his ears when all Jack's men run off. That can't be good.

” Onyx said, she sounded defensive, she was definitely keeping something from me. ‘You said ‘him’. I am bisexual so you know something more than you are telling me.’ I said. ‘I don’t know the human’s name, but I feel the connection to his wolf. I can tell you his wolf is strong, kind and very handsome,’ Onyx said. ‘Can you tell me anything else about him?’ I asked. ‘I think he is close by.’ She said before retreating further into my mind. I could tell that she loved her mate already. I could hear the warmth of her feelings when she spoke about him. I just had to hope that my mate's human part was as nice as Onyx assured me his wolf part was. If he was then maybe there was hope for us.

He tries to look sad, but his words and smiling eyes tell me he is proud of his actions. Onyx laughs as he walks across the room and rests against the wall. “What is so funny?” He demands from Onyx. “You called my mate’s brother a pet.
