I had been waiting for the day my child would ask for one from me and I would be able to give any pet that she wanted to her. “But why baby?” I asked, wanting to know what caused her to think like that. “Mommy has Daddy as her wolf, I want one too,” she said, making me gasp at her words. It made me laugh because in some sense she had called Seff my pet. But Seff wasn’t worried about that, protective as ever he cried out rushing towards us with the blanket tied around his waist, “No! You are still too young Alex. Don’t say that. Daddy will play with you all you want. I will get you a kitten instead so don’t say that you want a wolf! They are bad!”

When I entered, I was greeted with a happy 'meow' and couldn't help but widen my grin. We had rescued a cat from a local organization. His fur was pitch black, and his eyes were amber. I named him Onyx, because the shine of his fur reminded me of such gemstones. I bent down and pet him, saying softly, "Hey there, kitty kitty. Hungry?" The cat meowed at me as if understanding my question, causing me to chuckle. I made my way to the kitchen and began pouring him some food. From the other room, I heard the television going. As I began to make some noise, however, it got turned off.

Harlow hissed at her uncle, "the only thing you will be getting today is your death." Onyx laughed, clapping his hands. “Do you hear this? My little niece, do you really think that you and your pack can defeat me and my army? Just look at us compared to them." He laughed. ’’Just come with me. Don’t be like the others who refuse to see my vision. Or you just might end up like your parents.’’ Gore growled, getting ready to shift in his wolf form and attack. "Look, look, the dog. He thinks he can stop me." Onyx laughed. "I just want my niece, and I will be on my way." He held out his hand.

A woman sat on it, legs crossed elegantly, eyeing them with interest, like a fox waiting to pounce on its prey, her lips curved into a smirk. “Welcome to my humble abode”. Was she? Onyx. She's the one who has a crush on Charles? Kate hated to admit it but she was dangerously beautiful. With her long raven-black hair, emerald green eyes, her fox-shaped eyes painted with smokey eyeshadow, and lips coloured a deep shade of red. No wonder she was the most feared woman in the underworld. Her pretty face and soft features could easily fool anyone, except for her aura, which could intimidate even the bravest men.

I rebuked Oynx as I felt him wanting to take over me again. This time, the force was a lot stronger, demanding a harder pushback from me. Being a wolf, Onyx desired to mate with his mate whether or not I forbade him. I could feel the bones in my body shift as Oynx was breaking free. I groaned in pain and frustration as I tried to suppress him with all my might. He wanted Kate and he wanted her now. “Deimon.” I suddenly heard a feminine voice emit from below the tree. Onyx was distracted and I managed to suppress him, halting the transition from human to my wolf.

I mind link his wolf. Onyx’s wolf looks up at me and rubs his face against my hands. His fur is so soft and sparkly. Onyx let’s out a defensive growl and I see a red flash out the corner of my eye. My stomach drops to the bottom of my stomach when I smell his biological father. “Hello Father” Onyx’s wolf says.

Raizen scolded, causing Aza to hug the cat she was holding. “Oi, you’re being harsh. He was just abandoned on the street, so I brought him home. He’s so beautiful, Onyx said he’s a Persian cat. Look,” Aza said, holding the cat closer to Raizen, causing him to retreat into the music room and approach the piano, his gaze fixed on Aza with hostility. “Fvck?! Don’t bring that animal near me?!” Raizen snapped, his gaze falling on the cat Aza was holding, causing him to look at her with bewilderment.

Maddie’s lifeless face didn’t show any trace of reaction and stayed in the same state. Onyx growled aloud, closing the distance between his body and the hospital bed. He hovered over her body, his breaths now fanning her face. His canines extended out because of the instability of his emotions. “Wake up, Madeline Summers. I, Onyx Wolf, command my fated mate, you, to wake up right now if you don’t want me to mark you without your consent.” He commanded her in a fit of agony, tears pooling in his eyes.

In our wolf forms, our senses were sharper. At one point, Onyx stopped abruptly, his ears perked, as if he’d heard something. Then, with a sudden burst of speed, he playfully tackled me, sending us tumbling into a soft patch of grass. Tiara laughed in my mind, enjoying every second. Onyx nudged me again, his honey gaze filled with happiness.

Fur began to spring out of her skin as all her bones broke and contorted until she completely shifted into her beautiful wolf. “She’s beautiful,” I said as I stood there, admiring Onyx. “Thank you. Your turn.” Onyx’s voice rang in my mind. “Hi, Onyx,” I chuckled before going ahead to allow Orion to take over. Without hesitation, Orion moved closer to Onyx, nuzzling against her fur and circling her excitedly. “Catch me if you can,” Onyx suddenly said and immediately sprang off, running through the woods. Orion followed, but he wasn’t running at his full speed. He wanted to give her the chance to think she was fast. Orion was so fast and powerful that if he wanted, he could’ve caught up with h
