I couldn’t help but smile at her words, the image she conjured absurdly amusing. It was as if, even in the darkest moments, she managed to find a glimmer of humor, a ray of light that pierced through the shadows.

“Just a little bit?” “Are you sure?” Without warning, I throw myself at her, laying her down on the bed and running her with my body so I can stimulate her without giving her a chance to escape. "Jerk." "Hey! I'll have you know that…" at my raised brow she snorted, which turned into giggles on their way to becoming a deep, full-belly cackle "…not my fault this shit happens to you when I am around. It's priceless. Share it with the world, Beau. Make it a better place, one laugh at a time."

You have no idea how long it’s been since I last jerked off!” “Well then… you are welcome,” I snort, hearing him burst into loud, rolling laughter. Damn, his laugh is ridiculously contagious! Turns out he has that type of laugh that makes everyone want to laugh along.

“Charming, huh? Cocky much. You keep telling yourself that.” “Hey, I make you laugh, don’t I?” I teased, stepping backward a little so I could walk facing her. “That’s something. She laughed—a real laugh this time and it was not just a polite chuckle. It spilled out of her, soft at first, then fuller, until her shoulders shook. She covered her mouth like she was embarrassed but her eyes sparkled when she looked at me.

Reaching over for my phone, I instinctively switched on the sex video. At this instant, the low sound of laughter cascaded from my chest, for my eyes were glued to the video screen, with every passing second offering more humor for me. The laugh mounted, a very merry, unrestrained trill, as I felt all cares, worries dissolving with it, like mist glittering away in the morning sun.

I had spent so much time trying to manufacture a moment that when a real one happened, I didn't know what to do with it. "You should do that more often," I said quietly. "Do what?" "Laugh.
