Open When You Re Bored Novels & Stories

He said, “They use this as a scare tactic.” “By ringing the doorbell?” She asked. “Then, when you finally get up, there won’t be anyone there.” He said. “They play games?” She asked, and he laughed at her reaction. “Most of what they do is playing games,” Mack said. “That is what I noticed first about them.” “So the fact they play games is the thing that made you see them for what they were?” Haven asked, looking confused. “It was one of the things.” He said as she looked around the room.

I let out a breath I hadn’t realised I was holding, my mind still spinning from everything that had just unfolded. *** The rest of the day dragged on, each hour blending into the next as I aimlessly scrolled through my phone in bed. At some point, boredom led me to the living room, where I flipped through endless TV channels, barely paying attention to anything playing. Frustration bubbled inside me as I stared at my unanswered messages. I had tried texting Bash, hoping he’d come around again, but the silence on his end made it clear—he was either busy or just not interested. Either way, the boredom was unbearable.

LATTON was pacing back and forth in her room and bored out of her mind. She caught a glance of her reflection in the mirror and started talking to herself internally as if seeing three other Latton in her room with her whispering things in her ear. “I’m so bored, what should I do?” “Text him!” “Call him!” “Come on, it’s the 21st century, make the first move.” “Should I make the first move?” “Yes!” “Yes, you should.”

Sarah Boredom seeps into my bones as I mindlessly scroll through F******k. Vincent has been busy, and when he came home, he went straight to sleep. He hadn't been pouncing on me, and I should be relieved, but...I am almost disappointed. Ugh! Something is definitely wrong with me! F******k is doing nothing to cure my boredom, either. Nothing but washed-up high school friends posting selfies of their perfect lives and humblebrags of their latest vacations makes me want to hurl the phone across the room.

“Why am I even noticing that?” No answer, obviously. I grabbed the remote and turned on the television, flipping through channels without actually watching anything. Ten minutes later, I realized I had no idea what was playing. “Great. I’m bored.” The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them. Being bored in a mansion sounded stupid. People would probably laugh if they heard me complain about it. But that didn’t change the fact that the place felt too quiet again. I turned the television off and stood up.

But actually seeing my apartment in that state really hammered home the fact that I was wanted by some very, very bad people. I flipped open my laptop and began to scroll through F******k. I had a couple hours to kill, and so I began to lose myself in mindless social media—the best cure for stress. Over an hour slipped away like that, but I soon found myself bored to tears. It sounded like Jaguar was watching football in the other room.

Ghost Boredom is a dangerous thing for me. It creeps in like a shadow, curling around my mind, whispering temptations I’m too eager to entertain. And when I get bored, I do stupid, reckless shit—shit that usually comes back to bite me the next day. I should probably reign it in tonight. Probably. If only probably was a year, it's not which means tonight is going to be as wild as the other nights when I'm bored out of my damn mind.

I’ve been sleeping tоо muсh to hаvе another nap. I thіnk again about rеаdіng a book or watching TV. I remember whаt mу mum uѕеd tо say when I wаѕ bоrеd аѕ a kіd. Do ѕоmеthіng. Wrіtе ѕоmеthіng. Go оutѕіdе.

I find a quiet place to sit, which happens to be the kitchen and since I normally don't trust any of the drinks offered in parties like this, I refrain from taking in anything. I pull out my phone and randomly start to text my dear bestie Martin, who immediately replies to me. M: You good? G: Yh, just bored! M: Have you even tried having any fun or did you already condemn the possibility? G: ... M: ? G: I'm just bored. M: *sighs* You'll be fine, just don't drink anything that has alcohol.

Comment down below. Don't bother about the sickness, it just popped in my brain, it's not real. See you next time!!! Much ❤❤❤and
