I’ve been working at the firm for a month, still no trace of what we are looking for. During evening I drove at the abandon building, waiting for an instruction from Chris’ as he move from road to road. We manage to maximize the space at the old hotel room. There are days that I fall asleep while watching at Brian’s open window. Nights when I hear him on the earpiece on my head saying look for the man behind him and shoot if he will do suspicious moves.

"It's just acting" He just stared at me bored.

🖱️Jayden🖱️ God, I was bored out of my mind. Not the normal kind of bored where you scroll through your phone for five minutes and suddenly life feels better. No. This was the heavy kind of boredom that sits on your chest and makes every second feel longer than it should. The apartment was quiet, too quiet actually, and after a few hours of sitting around doing absolutely nothing I started feeling like I was trapped inside a cage. Victor and Sammy hasn’t even being away for a day and am already feeling like this. Completely alone.

** Anna’s POV ** I was bored to death at home, it had been two weeks already since I quit my job. I had applied for a new job in over four places but I was yet to get any feedback from any of the companies. I wasn’t really worried, I could take care of myself long enough to find a job. But then I had to find a way to deal with the boredom. Too much screen time was a threat to my eyesight, I wanted to do something different today, something productive, maybe something that would make me happy.

Walking back into the bedroom, I sit on the bed. Slowly, my energy rises, and I find myself sitting on the bed bored. How long is he going to be? Looking around, I get out of bed, walking around and looking through the drawers. I don’t know why but I need to move and find something to keep me occupied.

"Do you have to be so bitter? Couldn't you have allowed me to have some me-time at that place?" "No, I wouldn't want you to remain sitting there, looking lifeless as you think yourself into depression." "I am not depressed... I called out." "Of course" We got back home and Peace had to return to her work so I buried myself into my work as I try to meet up with the deadline. Hours pass by and I am still occupied with my writing when I suddenly heard the sound of the bell.

Lorenzo, unfazed, had just tugged me back into the bed till he was holding me against his body. “That’s because you do not need to work since I’m working for the both of us. So you don’t have any reason to work, because I’ll always provide for you. Why are we even talking about this? I know for a fact that your the money in your card has barely gone down at all so far.” He pointed out and i couldn’t help but pout at him even though my heartbeat fluttered at his words. “But I’m bored. At that point I tuned out, I'd heard about their despair for the younger generation many, many times. ******** Walking through the heavy front door of the Manor I inhaled deeply, sad that I didn't know when I'd be back at work. The prospect of empty days stretched before me and it wasn't appealing, but to placate Max and to give Jonas peace of mind I would cope. There were worse things that be stuck inside a huge house with an endless supply of food and all the cable channels a girl could want.

I wanted to punch a wall. * * * The house felt heavy today. The air was thick and hard to breathe. I sat on my bed, staring at the blank wall. I was so bored. My skin felt itchy from sitting still for too long. There was nothing to do. I finished my homework days ago. I watched all my favorite shows. I listened to music until my ears hurt. Now, there was just silence. Well, not complete silence.
