I find a quiet place to sit, which happens to be the kitchen and since I normally don't trust any of the drinks offered in parties like this, I refrain from taking in anything. I pull out my phone and randomly start to text my dear bestie Martin, who immediately replies to me. M: You good? G: Yh, just bored! Anna's POV I was feeling bored so I decided to go downstairs, I looked at the blank TV then I remembered the rule and I roll my eyes No phone.. No watching of TV No going out.. No game.. I have no idea what he's up to but it can't be anything good. So, here I am. On a cold hard bench in a cold hard gym with nothing and no one to keep me company. After I forced Shade to call Ryder and Jem to make sure they feed, water and play with Draco there's been nothing else for me to do. Ryder dressed me in a pair of workout tights, a crop top and hoodie but I don't feel like getting sweaty and it's not like I can spend the entire day working out. I'd die. Sighing, somewhat dramatically, I lay down on the bench and drape an arm across my eyes. "I'm bored!" I exclaim to no one in particular. Boredom panged within me and lifted a pen and a book near my bed and placed them before me. "My life has been so boring, lately," I muttered and flipped open the book. What do I do to make myself happy?"

Even the simple message of a 'x' can give me butterflies from him. 'Yes please I feel as though I may die from boredom xxx' I hit send and wait for his suggestions. It's too late to call anyone back home and I'm not in the mood to just lay around and watch TV. My phone buzzes in my hand and I lift it up to read the message.

I ate too quickly, choking several times. After eating my fill, I curled up on the floor and slept. When Carter came in again, he saw the empty plates I had licked clean. He sneered, “I knew it. Someone like you would never starve yourself to death.” I huddled in the corner, hugging my knees to my chest, head bowed in silence.

CAMERON’S POV I didn’t realize how much I missed being bored. That sounds stupid, but hear me out. Bored meant nothing was actively trying to ruin my life.
