"The History of the Red Hoods-Abridged" Est. 1752 He scanned the table of contents. This book was over 3,000 pages long. He flicked through the pages, most of which were full of dense text, some depicting horrible images. He stopped on a particularly gruesome one of a snarling wolf standing above a pile of dismembered bodies. "The Massacre on the Moors" was printed beneath it. He shuddered and went back to the front of the book, his finger running down the page until he found what he was looking for.

Rollo perked up, waiting for Jack’s answer. “No. Why?” Beta Jack was clearly confused. “On my run today, I ran along the creek. I came upon a wolf. I didn’t recognize the scent and I didn’t recognize the wolf’s eyes when I looked into them. The wolf was a red wolf. She was absolutely beautiful. Her scent was intoxicating. I felt so at peace when I was sitting with her.” I shook my head, realizing that I must sound completely sappy as I talk with Jack.

It’s strange twisting branches are now visible, swiftly moving with the wind. The woman was in awe. She then glanced at the animals that surrounded her. In an instant, her jaw dropped, witnessing the unusual features of every animal. One had four eyes, while others had flowers growing from their antlers. The critters on the woman’s lap moved, softly bumping their scarlet nose against her. Their gem-like eyes widened as their irises dilated in excitement. The woman responded to them, carefully caressing their faces. As she bowed down to meet the critters’ gaze, strands of her hair got loose from the back of her ear. Promptly, the waves bounced. Revealing its bright red hue.

Her book will be in a timeframe much later than the others and very different, since she is so much younger than the others, and not really close to any of them. The first four books will run mostly parallel to each other in the timeline. This way, you'll get to see how the fae war, the vampire war and the witch war all started and how they resolved. All of those battles took place around the time that the packs were being attacked by Alpha Wyatt, so while there is overlap, they are definitely their own stories.

The Chronicles would serve as the conventional history book, for our generations yet unborn, and it would also serve as a great reference point to the heroes of this pack who had lived before them, of which I am surely one, coz Calista dare not
