Tristan's eyes sparkled with nostalgia as he approached Orion. "Father, remember the mission you entrusted to me? Controlling the Lunar Guardian?" Orion's expression turned introspective, recalling the task. "Ah, yes... I knew it was crucial, but I never imagined..." Tristan's smile broadened, pride shining through. "Allow me to present the Lunar Guardian, my mate, Athena." Athena stepped forward, her elegance and poise commanding attention. Orion's eyes widened in awe. "The goddess has smiled upon us," Orion whispered, his gaze shifting between Tristan and Athena. "You've not only secured the Lunar Guardian but also found love."

Orion places me on the ground and moves to the other side of the room so quickly I don’t even see him until he’s there. Cyrus follows, making sure I’m steady before moving away from me as well. I stand there, my body begging me to bring them back, begging me to feel them pressed against me again. Orion goes to his desk and grabs two bottles of something from underneath. I hear it close; shit maybe we do have a fridge. What the hell is happening right now?

The brightest star beside him would always be Serena. I existed only as the dark background that made the two of them shine. Over the following weeks, I traveled through unfamiliar places and slowly let my worries fall away. Adrian occasionally found new numbers from which to message me. He told me that he and Serena had gone to the French restaurant where we used to have our dates. He told me he had fired Serena and wanted to apologize in person. He told me he was miserable and asked whether I would come back to see him. I never answered. I simply blocked each new number.

The difference in their auras felt like a rabbit and a wolf that hunting its prey. Sirius turned and walked away, Mr. Owen shaking even more. He had no other choice. It's them or him. Sirius heard Mr Owen's screams and the sound of gun shots echoing through the warehouses of the illegal narcotics factory. That day, Mr. Owen shot five of his employees, with his own hands, who dared to deceive Lord Sirius Brown.

Orion considered my question for a split second. “Not that I’ve noticed. Let me check.” After a minute, he responded. “Stav, all of them resemble your wolf: sleek, black with Arctic blue eyes, except their Beta. All of them have a powerful howl, just like yours. That’s all I can notice from so far.” My heart sank with dread. Was Orion right in his observation? Maybe he was mistaken. How could all of them resemble me? “That’s weird.” A loud gasp of horror escaped Orion, and it seemed he was running with all his might.

“What?” “Yes sir. Apparently, we are her oracles. She made it so I can draw the scene.” I said holding up the drawing pad. “And Liz sees the whole picture as like a video of sorts.” “I never dreamed I’d be alive to see an oracle of the Moon Goddess!” Alpha James exclaimed. “So, you believe us?” Liz asked. “Of course, I do! There are many books that tell of different oracles through the ages and how coveted they are. We cannot let anyone know about you two.”

Then he settled into the chair across from Darius and waited. "You felt it," Darius said. It was not a question. "The whole room felt something shift," Orion said. "I did not know what it was until you turned around." He paused. "She bolted fast." "Yes." "Can you blame her?" Darius looked at him. Orion met his gaze evenly, which most people could not do, and did not take the question back. "No," Darius said after a moment. "I cannot blame her." Orion nodded slowly. "She is Roman's mate's sister. Elara Robin." He said the name carefully, watching Darius's face. "She is an omega."

As they topped the hill, Orion saw her clearly for the first time in eighteen years—his twin sister, tied to a stone altar, blue fire flickering around her like dying stars. Their eyes met across the distance. And then both of their fires—blue and black—burst into blinding light.

Orion said coldly. His words struck Aurora like a blow, shattering the fragile excitement she had felt moments ago. “Whoa, bro. We’re mated to the same lady?” Matheus asked, his brows lifting in surprise. Orion rolled his eyes as a quiet “hmmm” left his mouth. “Well, I don’t need her, so you can have her all to yoursel…” His words were abruptly cut off when a young, handsome man suddenly rushed toward them. His name was Dorian of the Hallow Pack, the Beta and the second brother among the three siblings.

Orion, however, saw the darkening of his pupils, the shadow of sickening thoughts. Revulsion churned within him, mingled with rage. He was not only angry at Bellinor but more at himself. He had seen all, yet done nothing. Orion focused on this wrath, letting the emotions bubble in his being. Suddenly, a ray of blue ice burst from his hands, streaking toward Adorus. The Sun God burned it away effortlessly, not even flinching. A grin touched his lips. “Ah. You have found your spark at last. We are finished here.”
