Zion

Zion

ALINA I felt strange. There was this weird feeling that I couldn't shake off no matter how much I tried. The feeling only calmed and faded away when he was around me, looking at me, talking to me and I hated it. That soft glow of light that emanated off him was still visible to my eyes, however, most of the time it remained a soft yellow. I couldn't help but notice that each time Brady was around, that glow turned into a bright flame of red. Something was up with them, but I didn't know what. It was unlike me to poke my nose in other people's business but then again, I wasn't acting much like me since school began.

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

MY ENEMY'S DAUGHTER

MY ENEMY'S DAUGHTER

“Normal is overrated. But peace… that I’ll give you.” As we drive home, the city fades behind us. I quietly realize something profound. Even though danger hasn’t fully disappeared, there was love tonight, and that’s enough. ——————————————————————— LUCIA’S POV News like that never arrives politely. I am halfway through a glass of wine when Orlando stops pacing and freezes. He keeps his phone pressed to his ear, his knuckles white and his jaw tight. “What?” I ask sharply. He doesn’t answer right away. He just listens, his breath shallow. Then, quietly, he says, “Send me proof.”

I turned to him and he moved closer to my ear. "Hold my hand." His voice was serious but his words made me melt. I put my hand next to me, it was likely covered by our bodies but it still made me slightly nervous. I sat back as Leon put his hand in mine, our fingers entwined. "Do you want to see if you can beat my time?" He asked, smiling. "Don't you have a world record or something?" I looked up at his beautiful face. "No, I think it's a city of London police record." He had a cheeky grin and I pushed him by my shoulder. "Let me have a quick kiss," he breathed in my ear.

Getting Over Him (A Bonus Novella - Arianna's POV)

Getting Over Him (A Bonus Novella - Arianna's POV)

I had to find Orlando. “Where did he go?” I asked one of the staff, who pointed me toward the rooftop. “Thanks. Can you bring some milk and juice?” “Sure, Miss.” When I reached the rooftop, Orlando was staring into the distance. The blue t-shirt he wore this morning stretched, emphasizing the muscles underneath as his hands tightened around the steel railing. I placed the plates on the table before going to him. “Hey,” I called softly, and when he didn’t turn, I went to stand beside him, gazing at the sea.

The Oracle's Luna

The Oracle's Luna

She said his name, her voice breaking sadly. “I just can’t be that mate…” He sighed. “I am so sorry, Kelly.” He proceeded to stand on his feet. Placing his hands in his pockets, he continued, “The Oracle is tomorrow night. You just turned eighteen last week; you’re still young. It’s a great place to find someone.” The Oracle was a ceremony that happened once a year. It was for werewolves to find a mate, but you had to be eighteen and above to attend. Everyone in the pack that could attend always did. Even the alpha of the pack and his Luna.

OLIVER

OLIVER

“I need a horse for my…for Stella.” Aaron frowned slightly, seeming to give the apple more attention than normal. Then he held it back, running his hand down the muzzle of the brown horse and holding out her lead rope to me. “Tiffany. That's what she's called.” — The adrenaline from the sprint hummed beneath my skin, beads of sweat gathered at the back of my neck. I ran my hand against Olarya’s dark fine fur, stopping to scratch the back of her ears softly. Her sides expanded and contracted with heavy, rhythmic breaths, the faint smell of sweat rising from her coat.

"How do you know that?" "The town was onto him for a long time. They still are, honestly. Think he's some form of a saviour." Eleanor was trying to wrap her head around all this when he said "Enough of all this freaky talk. Orlando has some really really cool sites. Wanna see them sometime?" "Orlando? As in, the whole of Orlando?" "Yeah." She groaned cutely. "But it'll take hours on the road." He rolled his eyes "oh come on! Don't be a baby."

She elucidates better. “Protection? Why would it need protection? Isn't it stronger enough to protect itself?” Shaw questions “The oracle is indeed a powerful entity, but only when it comes to its role. She or he has no powers to hurt the other, only to alert him. The oracle is only a messenger of fate, who cannot intervene in it.” She answers Shaw “Wait, did you say ‘she or he’?” Pandora asks completely confused. “Isn’t the oracle immortal?” “It is. The entity nor its body.” She answers with a smirk playing on her lips.
