“How did he go rogue?” Professor Madison put her head down. “I'm not sure either,” she replied and we glanced at each other in confusion. “I remember Felix taking a mate after that event but she died during childbirth and the baby was born with a chronic disease that none of the Apex Omega's doctors could treat. Taking him to other doctors would reveal his identity, so it wasn't an option. Everyone believed it was Karma catching up with Felix for all the people he killed.

Isn't it a shame to let your pain go to waste? Janice couldn't bear to see Felix hurt, and if Mia failed to appreciate him, Janice wouldn't let her off so easily. Felix leaned against the pillows, saying, "Mom, I know what I'm doing. Please refrain from interfering." "Mia is just an orphan, and you are more than deserving of being with her. It appears she might be playing hard to get, trying to assert control over you." Felix struggled to convey the truth to Janice—Mia had already reunited with her biological family, dispelling any notion of her being an orphan.

But my biggest regret of all was telling him the exact same day he lost Sienna. When she came looking for Lucian, desperate to talk to him only moments after he had fled, and told us what had happened… it completely dismantled any remaining stilts holding our lives up. I gently pull away from Dominic, feeling entirely uncomfortable in my own skin as my wolf, Alex, howled her torment deep within my soul. I’d known something was deeply wrong that night. I saw the dead look in my son’s eyes, those eyes that were just a little darker than my own. I’d seen the fractured crystals, the silent plea for help that was presented in the form of a frame dripping in blood.

“I heard that hybrid baby from the legend even had a forked tongue.” “You must see how impossible this is, Damon.” Felix said. He reached out, placing his hand on my shoulder. “Even if you’re enthralled by her now, for whatever reason—it won’t last. Not unless you both plan on dying in the wastelands like all the other humans who came before her.” My jaw was too tight to answer. I looked down at where Felix’s hand met my shoulder and ground my teeth together.

Bik Upik then began telling Cyra what had happened to Felix. "Mr. Felix is very fragile, Miss. Despite his temper, deep down, he is very lonely. Since childhood, Mr. Felix has often been left by his parents. He grew up with house assistants and the other staff." Bik Upik continued to narrate Felix's unfortunate life story to persuade Cyra to eat and help Felix. "All right, Bik, I will eat," Cyra said. "Thank you, Miss!" Bik Upik immediately prepared a dining chair for Cyra so she could start her breakfast.

And the color of the bulb remained a hazy black. Not even the elders had any idea. Well, truth be told, I already expected that results. Maybe I'm not cut out to be a magician in the first place. Visit novelB(i)n.NET to read, pls! I had to force myself on believing that the reason why I'm different than others was that I am special. Or is it what called as — self-redemption? Self-pitying? Or self encouraging? "..." Regardless... That hazy black...might also mean — I do not have affinity in any elements.

He ran down the stairs and got in between his parents and Olivia. “This is completely unacceptable. Olivia is my wife and she's expecting our child, and I expect you to treat her with respect.” Sophia dropped her hand to her side and glared at them with brimming anger in her eyes. “How dare you drag this….this girl into our home?” Felix moved up from where he stood and walked to Olivia, he placed an arm around her for protection. “She's not this girl, mom; she's my wife.” “Olivia is here for good, Mom; it's our choice and life.”

I’m happy he does, it’s just I don’t is all. “I know that look miss Savannah. One of my granddaughters is an Orphan. When she first came home and I made her some cocoa, I used to see that look quite often”. Wait… if she was an orphan… he sees the wheels turning. “Yes, my dear… not all families are linked by blood you know”.

Vireya's POV "The book is asking for something more specific. His name perhaps, a title, or something unique about him," I said out loud, running my fingers over the living book's pulsing surface. Xareth groaned, low and sharp, dragging a hand through his hair. "The heir of Crimson Dusk. The Alpha’s son who vanished with the Heartstone. Ask it that," he said, his voice thick with irritation and fatigue. I nodded slowly, and wrote the words. It appeared, Caer Tharnis, an ancient mountain fortress buried in ice.

She sniffed, “I saw your corpse, Blakely. You were dead, and now you’re not. Even more so, I’d like to know what happened to Alpha Felix. His father is beside himself.” During my time in the Godly realm, I’d forgotten how cold my mother could be. She had this inner switch that could shut off her emotions or bury them at best. Either way, she knew how to close off her heart from the world and didn’t hesitate to do so when it suited her. I must’ve flinched or let my feelings known because Orion spoke, and there was nothing friendly in his voice. “She was never dead. You would’ve seen that had you cared enough to look.”
