Suddenly, a bone-chilling shriek pierced through the air, originating from the East. The pack members froze in their tracks, their bodies tense with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension. The once joyous atmosphere shifted to one of alertness and concern. Eva, Damien, and the pack's strongest warriors rushed to the source of the sound, their senses heightened and their instincts on high alert. As they arrived at the scene, their eyes widened with astonishment and concern. There, standing befor

People eventually gave up and closed their mouths out of fear and exhaustion. Felix had grown up in an orphanage with his younger brother, who had not even reached his first year when they arrived. He had no memory of the mother who left him there with nothing but a letter in her hand. Because of that, he never felt anything toward the woman whose name he did not know. He did not love her, nor did he hate her. She was simply a hollow place in his mind, a person who existed without leaving any trace in his heart.

Kill the Queen before the four heirs are born. Beneath the sentence, pressed into wax gone brittle with age, sat a seal I didn’t recognize. Orion did. And whatever he saw in it drained the last of the color from his face too … because it belonged to someone who should have been dead for twenty years.

Felix became an Omega of the Blackshadow pack. He was assigned the lowliest jobs in the estate, such as sweeping the floor, feeding the horses, and cleaning the restrooms. He didn't complain at all. On the contrary, he felt honored to be doing such lowly work. From his perspective, he was atoning for his sins. It was also a way for him to stay by my side. Every morning when I woke up, I would find a bouquet of wild flowers outside my door.

Felix said. “Who?” “Michael, the man you killed on the stairs,” he said. “You were in Guatemala all this time?” Basil asked him. “Yes, they experimented on us. They were testing a mind altering drug to wipe my memories,” Felix said. “Why?” “Who knows? It’s not like we sat around the table as they told me their plans,” Felix said sarcastically. “Don’t be an asshole,” I said as he smiled at me. “At one point there were vampires, wolves and two dragonkin men,” Felix said.

''Come on, lover boy will be all yours soon. I looked over my shoulder but Russell was already gone, just like a ghost and sadly, I won't know where you have been. I said nothing to Felix until we pulled up out of the treat shop, I was slightly upset and didn't want to snap at him. ''So about Oliva's parents?'' I asked, pretending to not know that they were deceased. Felix scoffed while holding the door open for me. "Like me, Olivia has no parents. Orphaned, the outcasts."

I just want to die, and find rest for once in my life. Felix pulled me closer to him and tilted my neck to the left exposing my bare neck. "Look over here Izaak," he ordered. "I'm going to make Fiona mine, FOREVER." Felix brought out his fangs, and with the aim of taunting Izaak, he moved his fangs slowly to my neck. "Let go of my wife!" Izaak's growl echoed and in the blink of an eye, Felix was sent flying into the air.

She already lost her sister, her so-called lover is out of her reach and now her best friend is not here anymore. “Felix, please don’t leave me…” She sobbed, holding his hands, tears streaming as the atmosphere changed abruptly into immense grief. “This has to be a fucking lie.” Tristan whispered, rushing to Felix’s side, not believing his body was half bitten. “Take care.. Of her…” Felix mouthed heavily to Zen who was taken aback but returned a firm stare, nodding, “I will pal, I will.” Zen said firmly. “Be.. happy, Ruth..” Felix whispered his last words, unable to speak anymore when he couldn’t feel his body any longer, becoming numb, stealing his ability to stay alive.

“Who are you talking to?” Felix pointed to a squirrel climbing a nearby tree and grinned. “He’s a good listener.” Olga shook her head. “We have to get you a mate, boy.” Felix’s face fell at her words. He’d never expressed the fact that he’d been hoping upon hope to be paired up with Kendra to either Kendra or his aunt. He knew that the fact that they were first cousins didn’t make it an ideal pairing, but he’d hoped that it could be overlooked since they led such an isolated existence. When Rupert left, his hopes increased. Until Rex showed up, that is.
