I always thought if I just held on a little longer, I could still keep this family together. Lagi-lagi aku hanya bisa tersenyum menyaksikan permainan takdirku. “Kenapa Dek, kenapa kamu malah senyum,” Mas bagas menatap heran ke arahku, raut mukanya tampak gelisah mungkin dia takut aku akan meledak. “Kenapa dunia ini begitu sempit Mas? kamu sendiri gimana? maukah menikahi mantan teman sebangkuku?” Aku harus memastikan ini sendiri disaksikan kedua orang tuanya. Dia lagi-lagi tak menjawab. “Tentu saja suamimu tidak akan menolak menikah dengan wanita cantik seperti Riana, toh mereka juga sudah saling mengenal,” sambar ayah mertuaku. “Kalau tolak ukur menikahi wanita hanya dilihat dari kecantikannya, apakah setelah menikah ada jaminan dia akan memiliki anak laki-laki, kalau tidak bukankah semuanya sia-sia.” Rasa sakit tak melulu harus ditampakkan dengan air mata, dan senyum tak selamanya memiliki arti bahagia. Senyum itu mampu menghilangkan luka walau hanya sekejap. Memberikan kekuatan baru agar aku bisa lebih kuat menghadapi kenyataan pahit.

Si Belinda 'Billy' Monteza ay sikat na vlogger kaya ipinayo ng pinsan ni Konsehal Kidlat Romero na makipaglapit kay Billy kung ayaw niyang gumastos ng malaki sa kampanya. I always think that all of his actions meant nothing but a friendly gesture. I always warn myself not to think too much about the way he treated me. I always think that I'm not that much of a significant girl to him. I used to think that it's okay to not think much because I don't want my expectation to be high because I'm sure the fall will hurt like a wench. I just don't really want to overthink about those things. But wasn't I already overthinking for the fact that I think to not overthink?
