" I can't possibly be sharing the same room with this lady! " Sharon voice could possibly be heard from the outside. "Not like I wish to share with you also!" Shannon rolled her eyes sarcastically, she was in mood to be dragged down with her childish talks, she had Dennis in mind to be worried about. "You should be lucky that someone like me is sharing a room with you!" Sharon squeaked.

Shane replied in annoyance. Mara's forehead creased. "Then will you stop clinging onto my shirt, please?" Shane let go of the hem of Mara's shirt and then looked away. Mara can't helo but think how cute Shane was and how much of a kid he is. Well, she guess Shane never really tried to become just a child and live as carefree as a kid should be. They sneaked into a small room which they guess a storag room or maybe the janitor's closet since tons of cleaning materials are also stored inside besides the boxes of buscuits. Though, it id possible that those boxes doesn't carry biscuits anymore.

On my way home, I stop by the Lending Library. Our neighborhood has been blessed with a wonderful treasure, the Lending Library. It's the most sacred of treasures for a reader like me. The idea is, I read a book, and when I'm finished, I return it to the Lending Library for someone else to read. The Lending Library is a large bookshelf that stands on a post. It resembles a mailbox.

Some people sent kitchen utensils and appliances, vouchers for all sorts of stuff, and pieces of furniture, lamps, and other crap. It would be nice to give half of this stuff to the merfolks that didn't have the money to afford it. The ones that just arrived on land and didn't know what money was. They would enjoy these things more than me. The merfolks community was already occupied with merfolks from all different pods. Some were visiting and others were here permanently. Alex and the princess said the place looked great. Of course, I had to take their word for it. Shelly banned me from going there. Since my presence could not be masked, then I had no choice but to stay away. But the other

“Hold the elevator.” I step forward to hold the door open just as someone tries running in, we crash into each other, and the two cups of coffee in her hand spills over both of us. “Shit, that’s hot!” I grumble, we both pull our coffee-soaked shirts away from our skin and look at each other at the same time. “Oh, my God! I’m so sorry—Cole?” “Shayla?” We say together, and Shayla rolls her eyes and shakes her head.

Max’s POV After I finished eating, I asked where I could take a shower, since the bathroom in my room was being remodeled. The closet had me forgetting all about wanting to take a shower, though. “Sure, you can use the shower in the shared room,” Luke said, leading the way. “Why do you call it the shared room?” I asked. Amelia had called it that when we were paralyzed. “All five of us have our own rooms if we want to be alone,” Luke explained. “Then we have a shared room, so if we want to sleep together, we can. It helps with bonding between mates.”

The photos seemed so pointless now, so I tossed them into a box and began packing my things. Daniel hadn't given me much in the years we were together. He certainly hadn't given me enough to fill up a box. I threw the box of stuff and pre-wedding photos into the communal dumpster. By tomorrow, the dump truck would have taken all this trash away.

Third POV "Okay, Alexa," Aaron said, his voice soft. "We trust you. But if anything happens, we're here for you, got it?" Alexa smiled, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Got it, guys. Thanks for understanding." Sharon stood at the balcony, gazing out at the starry night sky, her mind racing with thoughts and worries. The others were asleep, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had been building up inside her.

There was a leather couch in the corner, a bar cart with expensive-looking bottles of whiskey, and a window that overlooked the estate grounds. It was the kind of room that screamed power and control. The kind of room that belonged to a man like Jonathan Hart. I walked over to the bookshelves, running my fingers along the spines. Most of them were business books, biographies of CEOs and politicians, a few on philosophy. Then I noticed something odd. One of the shelves looked… different. Like it didn’t quite sit flush with the wall. I reached out and pressed against it gently. There was a soft click, and the shelf swung inward.

Shelly nodded eagerly and exclaimed, "Aunt Sharon, you need to make this clear to Timothy—this mall is owned by our family. It's utterly outrageous that a modest store would dare to kick you out. "They clearly don't know their place. Timothy should promptly shut down this store and expel them along with Mia!" Shelly was furious, finding Mia's arrogant demeanor intolerable. Sharon shared the sentiment; how dare Mia, a humble servant who was once cast out by their family, behave so boldly toward her! She immediately dialed Timothy's number.
