Shannon was terribly heartbroken after she caught her fiancee of two years cheating on her with her Sister. Her heart was ruptured and the only place she could think of was a bar where she drank herself to stupor. She woke up the next morning in her sane mind only to find herself naked lying beside an unknown man. Shannon fled the city and two years later, she gave birth to a son. In a desperate search of Job , Shannon ran into the hands of a Cold Billionaire CEO, who she later discovered was the man she had a one-night stand with. How would she hide the secret away from him, her son, how she protect her son?
View MoreShannon's face beamed with a smile as she hung up on the phone, her smile spread widely on her face, she had just finished speaking with the wedding event planner they had hired.
Her wedding was in two weeks and she was finally going to get married to the man she loves, Raymond. He had been her fiancee for two years now and finally surprised her last three weeks when he insisted they got married that month. Her joy knew no bounds as she hugged him tightly, she loves him no doubt and she was ready to be with him forever.
Her phone chirped, jerking her away from her thought, she glanced at her phone, clicking on the message that had made that chirping sound.
Her face lit up with a smile, the wedding planner had just sent her some samples of wedding gowns.
She licked her lips, then pouted as she glanced at the different images. Licking her lips was a habit she had grown fond of whenever she was nervous.
The gowns were just too pretty that she can't make a choice alone, she casually picked up her phone and dialed her sister's number... The phone rang after some time stopped.
Shannon sighed, her sister wasn't picking up her calls, she stood up from the couch where she sat deciding to go to her sister's house because she lives with her fiancee Raymond.
A few minutes later, she was seen on the road driving, to her destination to her sister's house.
"Hey, Sis!" Shannon casually greeted entering the house, she knew the code to the house, so there was no need to ring the doorbell.
Some funny noise she heard halted her movement she stopped walking and listened carefully..
"Oh my gosh, Raymond harder!" She heard her sister's voice scream.
Shannon's heart broke momentarily, but still, she was still finding it difficult that it'd be her own Raymond, the Raymond she knew and was in love with her and wouldn't cheat on her... There are so many people by the name Raymond.. So, it can't be hers. Her subconscious reminded her.
"Yeah, baby. You are so fucking hot" Shannon's heart froze as she hears that voice, that voice.... She could recognize that particular voice.. her heart beats rapidly as she leaned on the door, her legs were already shaky as she sunk low to the floor.
Her fiancee was cheating on her, he was cheating on her with her sister.. The pain was too hard for her to bear and she broke down sobbing.
She had wanted to leave the house to avoid getting hurt badly, but she had to confront them...
With a sigh, she wanted to open the door angrily but stopped when she heard something.
"I'm cumming!!" She heard those words and then heard a grunt of satisfaction.
"Cum in me, baby.. no need to pull out, I'm already pregnant for you!" Those words pierce through Shannon's heart like a dagger, if her sister was already pregnant with her fiancee; that simply means that they had been cheating behind her back for a long.
"For real?" The happiness in Raymond's voice was too obvious.
"Yeah, for real" Her sister's laughter filled the room.
"I'm very proud that you're the one carrying my seed not her" Uncontrollable tears streaked down Shannon's eyes, she knew that he was referring to her.
"So, what are you going to do now? Would you continue with the wedding?"
"Nah, we both know I don't have any intention of getting married to her, she was just a bait I was used to getting close to you, we know that" Shannon's eyes widened as she heard her Fiancee confession, he never loved her as he claimed, she was just a bait, a bait?" Hot tears streaked down her face as she absorbed the word she had just heard.
In her fury state Shannon wiped her tears, bracing herself together as she opened the door without thinking twice..
She smirked as the both of them sprang apart from each other, they were obviously in shock as they glare at her.
"When did you come in?" Her sister Billie asked, her eyes widening as she struggled with the bedsheet to cover herself.
"When you were engrossed in screaming.. Raymond Harder!" She mimicked, hurt clearly in her voice.
"I trusted you, Raymond, and I loved you! How could you do this to me, How? Raymond why?" She screamed out her frustration.
Instead of regrets, she watched as he laughed hysterically.. "Do I look like Someone of your status?" He scoffed.
"I can't get married to someone as gullible as you, you're too soft, too poor, adopted..... everything about you disgust me, you'd be happy that you were able to date someone like me!" He spat at her cuddling her sister close to his chest.
"Look at her, she's all I need in my life, with beauty, brain, money.. you're no match for her.. she's completely my spec! Not Someone like you!" He continued to speak, with each word he spoke piercing through her chest.
Shannon couldn't believe what she'd had just heard, he was using her all this while, he never loved her.
She turned from him to her sister, "Yeah, you heard him... You're no match for me, everyone would always pick you over me and to think I make you my best friend is ridiculous. I only got close to you because I wanted his attention" Shannon wasn't prepared for all these revelations that were popping up, she'd had just wanted to show her frustration and walk away. This was the worst betrayal ever, she held her chest trying not to break down in their presence.
She looked at the both of them, the stab in her chest was right there, she shooked her head knowing they would be no point in arguing with them both.
"I wish you both a happy life!" She stammered and with that walked out of the room.
Immediately she entered her car, she cried out the pain, she had been holding onto, it hurts, hurts like hell; the breakup, betrayal.. everything hurts!
Shannon couldn't tell how long she had spent crying in the car, she was hurt badly..
Without thinking straight, Shannon drove straight to a club, she'd had it in mind to take as many shot as she could in order to forget the heartbreak.
She ordered wine, and in no seconds it was presented before her. Shannon wasted no time as she gulped the content down her throat directly from the bottle.
A few minutes later, "Bring four more!" She ordered slurrrishly after draining three bottles. She wasn't feeling less pain yet, she needed to make the pain disappear.
The butler wasted no time as he arrived quickly with her order, placing it gently on the table.
"One.. Two... Three.... Four.... Five!" Shannon counted slurrrishly, she raised her brow up as she glance at the butler.
"I said Four, not five!" She yelled her frustration at him.
"Ma'am, but that's four bottles and not five" the butler stuttered.
"Do you think I'm a fool? Well, it's your loss, Scram now!" She barked taking a bottle and then started gulping it down.
After taking close to four bottles, Shannon was feeling tipsy now, her eyes were playing tricks on her already, yet the pain was still there. The plenty of alcohol she had taken only worsen her pain; the incident was replaying freshly in her head..
Shannon stood up from her chair, she had no idea where she was going, but one thing she knew for sure was that she needed to get away from the pain.
Shannon didn't know how she walked and arrived at the bar room, but all she knew was that she was going to get laid by the hot gigolo that was sitting on the bed..
"Hey.. Mr. Hottie, I want you to fuck me brainless!" She muttered slurrrishly.
Before Shannon could even comprehend what was happening, she was already lying straight on the bed, Stark naked, and her clothes were ripped off.
She didn't know what was happening, but all she knew was that she couldn't stop moaning, he was thrusting deep inside of her while she moaned endlessly.
A few seconds later, They both had a tremendous orgasm as he released inside of her.
Shannon rolled away from him in her tired state, but the man pulled her close as they both slept peacefully without muttering a word to each other.
It wasn't entirely Dawn when Shannon woke up, she looked at her phone, checking the time, it was just minutes past 5, she stood up from the bed and get dressed.
Since it was dark, Shannon didn't bother glancing at the man she slept with face, rather she dropped the five hundred dollar note she had in her bag and walked away.
"Do you take Ryan Lancaster to be your Lawful wedded husband?" The priest voice boomed through the room. Ryan hadn't been this nervous in his life, his eyes couldn't leave his soon to be wife for a second, dressed in an elegant wedding dress, the dress clung to her body revealing her hour glass curves. He couldn't wait for the wedding to be over and remind her that those curves are finally his, and his alone and he can have them in one spot right where he want it, in his bed."I do!" He heard her melodious voice spoke, his chest gave a leap as he heard his long awaited answer. Then the priest turned to him."Cupcake, from the moment we met, I knew my life would change forever. You are my guiding light, my constant source of joy, and the love of my life. Today, in front of our friends and family, I promise to stand by your side through all of life's ups and downs. I promise to be your partner, your confidant, and your biggest supporter. I love you more than words can express, and I ca
Days pass, Weeks did also... Shannon didn't get to hear from Ryan, she knew he needed time to process all that had just happened, she couldn't blame him for what had happened. His past made him what he was, but then again, she hope he forgives her and let go.She felt awful for hiding his son away from him, hiding several stage of Dennis life away from him. She missed him so much even though he was always calling her and getting to talk to her almost everyday. Still, that awkwardness was there, because he wasn't there with her. "Momma, someone is at the door!" Dennis walked in to her room jolting her from her thoughts.Dennis had been a happy kid ever since he got to knew Ryan was his father, she had thought he would have a problem absorbing it in, but then again, he seems to be cool with it. "Okay!" Shannon reluctantly stood up from her comfort zone as she dragged her feet to the door, scooping Dennis from the floor, then to the sitting room.Opening the door, her eyes took sight o
The room was suddenly filled with a heavy silence, as the weight of Shannon's words hung in the air between them. She had been right to be afraid, to worry about what he might do if he found out the truth. And yet, her deception had caused its own kind of damage, a wound that would be difficult to heal.Ryan had never made any secret of his feelings on the matter. He had said, time and time again, that he did not want children. He recalled when he had told her, threatening to destroy his child with his bare hands if he ever finds out he had one, And not to mention the fact that he had asked several ladies in his past who had gotten pregnant for him to get rid of it. He had never imagined a day like this would come, a day when he would be confronted with the reality of his past words. He had said things in anger, things he had never truly meant. And yet, those words had come back to haunt him, in the form of a beautiful child. A child who had done nothing wrong, who was blameless in a
As Ryan opened the door, she caught a glimpse of his eyes. He looked so saddened. It was as if the whole world had just crashed down at his feet.He just looked at her, devastated, and without a word, he walked straight inside the mansion, with Dennis walking alongside him. Shannon ran after them, she scooped Dennis from the floor staring at his body to see if he was hurt, and then she breathed out a sigh of relief when she didn't see any signs of injury in his body. She felt tears threatening to spill down her eyes as she blinked her eyes rapidly, she couldn't believe she was holding Dennis finally In her hands. If only she had told Ryan the truth back then, perhaps all this wouldn't have been happening. She stared from her son to Ryan, she couldn't even hold his gaze for hours, he looked broken, shattered beyond repair, and she was the main reason behind those looks. She owes him apologies, several explanations, and above all she needs him to forgive her.Her thought wandered
Ryan, without thinking, scribbled his signature on the contract."Is there anything else?" Ryan inquired."Yes!" With a gun aimed at his head, Ryan raised his hands in surrender."Do you think I'm going to be so stupid to let you go after signing the contract? I thought you were smart, but then again, you're nothing but a dummy," Reuben cocked his gun and pointed it at Ryan.Ryan gulped. He was more concerned about Dennis. He wouldn't want him to experience such a scene. It was too scary for a child of his age, and he was more concerned about the scene haunting him."You know what? I'll give you whatever you want. Let's get in and talk business!" Ryan tried to keep his voice steady."There is nothing to discuss, Ryan. The contract is already signed, and that's it!" Reuben smirked. His eyes sparkled with a glint of triumph, the smugness in his gaze unmistakable. He had finally won the game; he had always wished for a day like this to come when Ryan would be at his complete mercy."So,
As Ben's car pulled up to where they stood, Shannon found herself at a loss for words. She had so much to say, but all the words seemed to have evaporated, knowing he wasn't going to be the answer to her numerous questions. She felt like a deer in headlights, frozen and unsure of what to do next. Her heart was pounding in her chest, her palms sweating. The only thing she knew for sure was that everything had just gotten a lot more complicated.Different thought was running through her head as she thought of why Ryan had run in hasteHer mind was a whirl of thoughts as she tried to make sense of what had just happened. Why had Ryan come running in such a hurry? Was there something she was missing? Something she didn't know? Or maybe does it have anything related to Dennis? Her mind was racing, but she couldn't focus on any one thought for long. She was like a leaf in a storm, tossed about by the winds of confusion and suspense.Shannon's face was pulled into a frown as Ben took a tur
Seated inside the car, Shannon's heart raced, its rhythmic thump echoing in her ears. The leather seats cradled her, embracing her with a soft, supple warmth, while the dashboard lights illuminated her anxious expression. She was very restless, tossing from one side to another, and she was being much careful as she kept her gaze locked on the road avoiding to meet with Ryan hot scrutiny. Even with his undivided attention focused on the road, She could feel his eyes burning into her, his gaze intense and probing. She kept her eyes focused on the road ahead, unable to bear the weight of his scrutiny. Without being told, she could feel his anger radiating from the seat beside her, filling the car with an electric tension. The silence was suffocating, making it hard to breathe. The car's wheels bumped along the road, the landscape outside blurring past them. Somehow, her gaze directed to where he sat, his hands holding the steering , she needed no one to tell her that he was battlin
Shannon knew from there that it wasn't a joke, it was real, her son was missing. She had to find him, where did he entered, who was behind it? Did he get kidnapped? How? Many questions were running through her mind right there, but she couldn't seems to have an answer to any one. "Is everything alright? " Lifting up her face, Shannon met with Ryan gaze. "Our son is missing!" Shannon spilled out the words without thinking twice. "Our son?" She expected that reaction, as he creased his brow in confusion, his gaze looking lost. Ryan wasn't just stupefied, he was looking lost. Was she hallucinating? Did something goes wrong somewhere or was it just a slip of tongue? Too many questions were running through his mind right there, and he needed an accurate answers to his question. "Yes, our son, " Shannon repeated this time, her voice clear and sure, she had nothing too loose. She had intended to tell him after the whole incident, but now, it was better later than never.Ryan stood ther
Fluttering her eyes open, Shannon felt her heart freeze as her gaze met with the unexpected Shadow that stood at the doorway, hands crossed across the shoulder. "You startled me!" Shannon creased her brow as she drew in a rasp breath. She could finally breathe properly now. Once Shannon realized that the shadow was Ryan, her body seemed to release a breath it had been holding. Her shoulders sagged with relief, the tension leaving her body in a wave. Her heartbeat slowed, and her breathing became more even. His presence seemed to fill the room with warmth, dispelling the fear and confusion that had seized her just moments before. She felt herself relax, a sense of safety and comfort settling over her. "Look what we have here!" his husky tone send cold shivers down her spine, his eyes gaze hungrily as they roam through her naked body. Her skin felt tight, as if every nerve was standing on end, as his voice rumbled through the air. The goosebumps that had broken out across her skin ma
