My Husband's Other Wives

My Husband's Other Wives

The chicken hopped around for a moment before dropping a steaming pile of poop onto my custom-made designer couch. Then it took off racing around the living room, scattering feathers and dust everywhere. That was the last straw. I pointed at the two women, my voice shaking with rage. "Who are you? What are you doing in my house? Get out!" Martha Wilson showed no sign of remorse. Instead, she planted her hands on her hips, spat on the floor in my direction, and sneered. "Shut your mouth, you bitch. From now on, we're Ryan's first and second wives. And you think you can throw us out?"

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

Remy (soft, deadly serious): “Whatever’s waiting down there… we face it married or not married, alive or legend. But I’d rather do it wearing your yes.” I lean my forehead against his. Celeste: “Then let’s go steal a crown and come back up husband and wife.” The submarine shudders. The drowned capital opens its gates. And the Black Sea parts for its queen and the coyote who finally put a ring on it. Here comes the wedding. Here comes the war. Here comes forever. We dive.

My Wife's Other Family

My Wife's Other Family

As they dragged Talia off, she twisted back and spat, "I put up with being your wife for seven years—that's more than you deserved. You think you're some prize? "You can't get anyone pregnant, and you've been useless in bed for years. No one wants you unless she's desperate. "So what if I went to Danny? When things go wrong, maybe look at yourself. A guy like you thinks I should've stayed loyal?" After we got married, we ran every test trying for a kid. Nothing happened. I told her to take it slow. I even got her pricey meds to help. She quit after a few days. So she thought I was the problem? That I couldn't perform?

The wife they never expected

The wife they never expected

And that distinction matters more than it should. --- Final Realisation Pressure is supposed to expose weakness. Instead— It is changing us into something far more difficult to break. --- FINAL HOOK And somewhere beyond this office— Someone is beginning to realise the real danger wasn’t the marriage. It was what the marriage was becoming.

The Wife Who Returned

The Wife Who Returned

A sound that made my blood run cold. A woman's laugh. Breathy. Intimate. Then Adrian's voice: "Shh. She's probably still asleep." No. No, he wouldn't. Not here. Not in our apartment. But I already knew he would. Because I'd seen this before. In my first life, in a different place, but the same scene. The same betrayal. I stood slowly, silently. Crept to the balcony door, which I'd left cracked open. And looked inside. They were in the living room. Maribel was bent over the arm of the couch, her leggings pulled down to her thighs. Adrian was behind her, one hand gripping her hip, the other squeezing her breast, his face twisted in pleasure.

My Wife is His Wife

My Wife is His Wife

"How could she hit you so hard? And you just stood there and watched, Jesse. Have you forgotten Sinead is your wife?" I was already a little upset. "She has already married someone else with your approval. Have you forgotten that?" Sinead's mother choked on her words and fell silent. After a while, she spoke again. "But that wasn't real. It was only an act. You're the only one taking it seriously." I rolled my eyes. They had all treated those solemn wedding vows as an act, but I couldn't. In fact, I found it filthy. Besides, it had been five years, and they had never told me about Zachary.

Blackened: The Bastard Heiress's Rise

Blackened: The Bastard Heiress's Rise

The deep sea was a realm of shattered black silk, a crushing, obsidian abyss where the light of the sun had never dared to reach. Outside the titanium hull of the Black Rose lead submarine, the ocean was a chaotic mess of cavitation and churning white foam. The low-frequency hum of twelve synchronized nuclear engines rose into a deafening, subsonic roar—a death symphony conducted by a woman who had finally run out of things to lose. Inside the command deck, the clinical red emergency lighting stretched the shadows of the crew into long, jagged knives, each one appearing ready to strike at the heart of the next.

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Edges are all smoothed out most of the time. I took a deep breath to calm down my spiraling nerves before walking back to Selma and my siblings. The fishing village was about a mile away from my home. It was a quiet place with most of the activity happening only near the beach. Seafood vendors everywhere at the tiny market square and there were a few people selling fishing and boating merchandise. Besides these, there were several witchy looking women selling interesting paraphernalia. "They are called sea witches," Iona explained, "They draw their magical powers from the ocean and can also influence the tides and safety of the voyagers and ships."

I didn’t see that coming in chapter 80. I know why it had to happen this way and how it’s going to pay off but I really loved reading their little side story and feel sad that it ended and he will be grieving. It’s one of the best redemption arcs and would like to read more about him.
Christy Pfeiffer

The Fierce Little Thing And Her Five Mates

The Fierce Little Thing And Her Five Mates

Layah Our team meeting went for hours. We had to sort through every "what if" possible. Contingency after contingency. We were in dangerous waters from here on and we were about to go deeper. Much deeper. Our next target was the sirens. One in particular: Claudia Voudaur. Siren shifters weren’t just feared, they were revered and avoided for a reason. They were the undisputed rulers of all open water, able to command oceans, lakes, and even the blood in your veins if you weren't careful. Claudia ruled the northern coastal sea, and her underwater kingdom was rumored to be carved into the bones of an ancient leviathan. Surrounding her court were water shifter factions so old their magic bled in

Slave of Alpha

Slave of Alpha

They must know that their husband or father is no more now. They must, especially for Martha, take it as a lesson of what the werewolves are capable of doing; that they must fear the werewolves and make sure not to argue with them. Both Cindy and Martha had gotten numb. It was a tsunami for both of them where the tides were going against them and sinking them deep down under the sea.
