Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

It hovered in the air, its wings buzzing loudly. Chantelle asked curiously, "Where would flying bugs come from down here?" Andrew stared at the insect and saw it resembled a twisted human face. His heart skipped a beat, and without hesitation, he shouted, "Run! Everyone, get out! Now!" Then, the buzzing sound grew louder. A second, third, fourth, and more bugs emerged, followed by countless more red flying bugs swarming out of the coffin. Without exception, each insect bore a face like a miniature, twisted human face. Just one glance was enough to make anyone's skin crawl.

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

The Raven Wolf King: Wolfless

The Raven Wolf King: Wolfless

Panic flashes across her face, her magic falters, and she can’t form a single spell. Unfortunately, that desperation dictates her next move. She calls forth a swarm of insects that pours over me like a wave, hundreds of them spilling across my arms, my neck, and my face. Their legs scrape against my skin, their bodies cold and slick as they crawl over every inch of me.

Changing Fate for the Alpha King

Changing Fate for the Alpha King

It feels like they might shatter any moment, and I will end up crumbling into a pile of flesh, and blood, and broken bones. That’s when it hits me. Something is slithering across the shell of my ear—something wet, and cold, and slimy—an insect, a long one. I scream voicelessly and rub at my ear. My fingers can’t touch my skin. There is something slim but huge crawling over my ear. Terror becomes one with anger and confusion, leaving me disoriented, panicking, and breathless. While trying to get the slimy insect off my ear, I don’t stop running. My feet grow heavier as if something is tied to my ankles, slowing me down and holding me back.

I too will give this book 10 stars!! It’s an amazing story following Dustin and Elita and their roller coaster journey to love. The entire series is a must read. Our friends from the other 3 books make appearances in this one as the story comes full circle. S.Y. is an amazing aurhor. You’ll love it.

This book has been awesome. Well written, great story line and just wow! I'm glad it's not just another werewolf and vampire story, rather something deep and meaningful that left me aching for more. Well done!

Our Billion-Worth Twins

Our Billion-Worth Twins

The moment he opened it, a very strange and malodorous smell spread out. An unidentifiable poisonous insect crawled out. It moved slowly on the ground... Gradually, after coming into contact with the air, the small black poisonous insect became crystal clear and milky white, and it emitted a very weird sizzling sound. The poisonous insect raised its head and looked in Ollie's direction, its two large eyes revealing a greedy light. It would only be like this when seeing prey. Ollie frowned in disgust. "Do you know what this is?" Jasper asked softly as he paced.

Dear Author I really love this story. However, I really don’t like reading books with 1000’s of chapters and the daily waiting, makes it drag out. Just a quick question is this book going to be ongoing for quite some time?

Where Do We Belong?

Where Do We Belong?

Just looking at Jill’s reddish skin and those big wings coming out of her back was enough to make him hurl. Jill knew little about this area but what she did know was that they had to figure out what insects they were first. It could make a huge difference. Charles was nowhere to be found but the switch between realms was rather sudden so it was no surprise that it might take a while. As they walked towards the center of town they began to see more and more bug-like people. Dylan was fascinated to learn that they weren’t all insects. Some were even arachnids or scorpions of all species. Wren was freaking out but trying his best to cover it. Jill explained that this area saw a surplus of othe

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

When dawn came, it wasn’t light that split the horizon. It was a line of text: “The Queen stood alone. But not for long.” Liora looked up and saw her enemies, Not soldiers, Not gods. Thousands of them. Blank-faced beings formed from parchment, crawling over the cliffs, silent and hungry, Each bore a sigil carved into its chest: Chapter 0. The first reached the Citadel’s walls, Touched stone And it vanished, No flame, No crumble, Just gone, as if it had never existed, Sera tried to summon a ward, It sparked then fizzled.

OBSESSED (Book One)

OBSESSED (Book One)

Maybe if she were a little less impolite, I would have just brushed her off and focused on solely getting back at Gabriella for the embarrassment but no, she just had to talk down to me and that in my book, is unforgivable. We finally got inside the place and I swear, if I thought the exterior of the place was disgusting, I had no idea that it was only a tip of the iceberg. The interior looked, felt and smelt like a place where hundreds of people had died in a not so good way and it sent a crazy, creepy shiver down my spine. "I thought you said this is the best you've got?" I asked an unbothered Chris who simply glared at me briefly before looking away.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Right at this moment, the headless giant that Caspian had killed suddenly squirmed violently and launched a sneak attack on Caspian. Caspian raised his sword to fight back! Whoosh! The wriggling and sword light surged together, allowing Caspian to clearly see that it was actually an insect! The bug was enormous and suffused with the aura of symbols. It was quite extraordinary. "Bugs?" Caspian was shocked. There were strange insects here, and they came out of the headless immortal general's body... What did this mean? Caspian blinked, and his sword intent surged. Although the bugs were extraordinary, they were still no match for him.

the last 30 posts in the kingdom of oblivion has been one of the most boring updates ever. too much unnecessary talks and no actions. especially the last 15 chapters. just the Minister and the prince with endless talks. please you can do better author

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Under The Moonlight: Alpha's Bride

Under The Moonlight: Alpha's Bride

Chapter 1 My face pressed against the damp, muddy earth, my fingers plunging deep into the mire, I found myself in a desperate situation. The monster who had my leg in his grip possessed strength far above my desire to flee. Despite my sadness, a spark of resolve burned within me, prompting me to resist. I managed to flip onto my back by twisting my body with all my power, taking advantage of the chance to toss handfuls of muck at his face, temporarily disorienting him.
