CRIMSON AND FUR
Somewhere in my subconscious, my mind warned me that I would regret this move I was making, but I really did not care.
For a few seconds, my mind flashed to Percy. I did not understand why I was thinking about him now, but I felt his name whispered in my heart like a soft melody, and the force of it was enough to stop my hunger -- for just a few seconds. Percy would be disappointed if he were to see me now -- Percy would . . . . . Percy was my enemy. I needed to remember that. He was the male -- the Alpha who planned to kill my father. Who hated Vampires, who dispised me for who I was. I did not care about Percy. I needed to not care about Percy.
