Amelia's POV… Pain erupted through me and I could feel Nyx growing angrier the more. If she leaves this office, she was going to harm innocent people. Reaching out, she took his hand in hers, and the feel of it was warmth enough to melt the icy despair that had frozen her heart. Out of the window, the landscape was one blurry view as Amelia sat in the Alpha's car, her mind still reeling with the events that had taken place. The cold of the forest and the terror of the ambush began to wear off, replaced by this foreign warmth seeping from her heart. She looked sideways at her rescuer-Alpha Kaelan of the Shadow Moon Pack.
