Damian’s wolf stirred, proud, possessive.
Finally, Damian took the dagger, slicing his palm with a deliberate stroke. His blood mingled with theirs, three streams merging into a pool of crimson on the wood.
“Now,” he said, his amber eyes sweeping the room, “our fates are tied. Betray this pact, and you will die by my hand.”
The words hung heavy, a curse and a promise.
Isabella leaned closer, her bloodied hand trembling slightly, though her smirk masked it. “Careful, Damian. A pact with me is a pact with the devil. And devils never die easy.”
