When Vow Breaks Novels & Stories

“No secrets.” “Never.” “And our child chooses their own future.” Dante kissed her forehead. “I swear it.” Alessia looked across the city their families had nearly destroyed. Their love had been written in vengeance, sealed through blood and tested by truth. But their future belonged to them. The vow had been kept. And this time, it promised life.

Gently taking his mangled, crimson-stained hands into her own, Willow lifted them until they were level with his shadowed gaze. “You broke your vow to me,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “I believed you when you said the beast would settle once I was back at your side for good. But the blood says otherwise. I suppose my presence isn't enough to drown out whatever agony you're feeding.” Roman shook his head, a desperate sound caught in his throat as he reached for her, but she recoiled, putting distance between them.

Alaric spat. “Oh, so she matters,” the brother mused, his breath ghosting my cheek. “More than the empire? More than your inheritance? More than the vow you broke?” My pulse stuttered. “What vow?” I rasped. He leaned closer, so close his lips almost brushed my ear. “The vow that tied him to me. Blood vows don’t break, Saphira. They only punish.” Alaric cursed under his breath something harsh, ragged. He knew what the brother meant.

I had just broken my vow. *** (Don't forget to drop a comment/review. Don't be a ghost reader! 🧡)

I yelled his name angrily but he did not show up. Oh my goddess, please give me strength to overcome this. I sniffed deeply while more water poured down onto me. The cold water helped me stay in touch with reality because all this felt like a nightmare I so badly wanted to wake up from. Damon why? My tear-streaked face flinched as I wept uncontrollably. Why did Damon break his vows now? I could feel the weight of the situation pressing down on my heart, threatening to suffocate me with its intense pain.

He trembled as he slowly rose. "Very well," he whispered, his voice barely audible, like a sigh. The Silvermoon and Blackrock packs had gathered within the temple. I stood before the statue of the Moon Goddess, voice echoing across the sacred hall. "On this holy night of the Blood Moon, I have three announcements for the packs. First, Damian, I, Eva Lopez, deliver your judgment." A hush fell over the temple. Damian's eyes were vacant, his body drained of all life. I studied his hollow face and uttered deliberately, "For the sake of power, you betrayed the Blood Moon vow. You forcibly broke your mate bond with Chloe, provoked a war, and shed the blood of your people.

"A second time. I have loved two men in my life and I..." "Listen to me, Kayla, you can't help that somethings are beyond even your control. You lost James, you had no control over yourself when you did what you did. I'm sure James understands that. I'm sure if he had a choice here would have sacrificed his life just so that you would live. I'm sure about this because that is exactly what I would have done too. You are anything but stupid and weak. You are brave. It takes a brave person to make a vow and break. You broke your vow for me." "Because I love you. Not as James or the man who looks like him. I love you because I want to."

A few murmuring broke the air. "What? No. I was just possessed in the moment, Sir. Please don't do this. Please." Gracias pleaded, her voice cracking, her knees nearly giving way as she clutched her bag tighter, as if the weight of it could anchor her. At that moment, Caro stepped out of the car. The soft thud of her heels against the ground drew every gaze. She looked breathtaking and fragile all at once, her expression torn between shock and heartbreak. She couldn’t stay seated any longer, couldn’t pretend she wasn’t part of this storm. She walked forward and stopped beside Davis.

Evelyn interrupted gently but firmly. Her voice trembled slightly now. “Yes, we went through a lot recently together. Yes, you protected us. Yes, you almost lost your life trying to save Ethan.” Her eyes grew glossy. “But none of that changes the past.” The room became deathly silent. Evelyn looked directly at him now. “You broke me, Adrian.” The words landed like knives. “You humiliated me… ignored me… chose another woman over me while I begged for your love.” Adrian’s breathing slowed painfully.

“Don’t worry. I got rid of Tiara, too, and cut off all her finances… She became someone else’s mistress, got beaten by the wife, and ended up in the hospital. She still hasn’t woken up…” “I’ve paid my price, too. Can’t we start over?” I looked down at the hand gripping my arm, then lifted my eyes to meet his. He looked nothing like the confident man he once was. Now he was just a hollow, defeated shell. “Do you really think you deserve me?” His grip loosened. “I know I don’t. But can’t you forgive me just this once?” “No.” I looked at him calmly. “My mother entrusted me to you on her deathbed. And what did you do to me?
