The Beta's Daughter
Although it was early in the night, a large portion of wolves had found their mates, and were dancing softly together, or had exited the ball early to be alone together.
“Alpha Evander, Luna Ida,” my father greeted, and all three of us bowed.
“Betas Marley and Imara,” Evander grinned. It sounded strange to hear my parent’s names; I always thought of them as mum and dad.
“And who’s this?” Luna Ida asked, peering inquisitively at me.
“This is our daughter, the Young Beta Arienne,” my dad said. I bowed again.
“It’s an honour to meet you,” I said, nodding to each of them in turn.
