The Soul-Bound Empire

The Soul-Bound Empire

Kael’s voice rang out, cutting through the whispers, “a Soul-Oath will be forged between myself and an enemy Omega. It will bind our lives, our souls, for peace.” The council members froze. A hushed silence fell over the room as the weight of his words settled in. The Soul-Oath was forbidden, a bond that could not be undone once forged. It meant shared pain, shared life, shared death. “No!” One of the councilors, Lord Orlin, stood, his face pale with disbelief. “Your Highness, you cannot—” “I can,” Kael interrupted, his voice as sharp as a blade. “This is the only way. To stop the bloodshed, to end the endless wars. This is the price of peace.”

Iridian

Iridian

“Apollo will never defend Nadia, not with his oath to her broken. The warrior’s oath binds them to their Houses. It’s just as powerful as the mate-bond, which is why the brothers don’t have mates themselves.” “They can’t have anything more important to them than their House.” I understood, but a part of me felt bad for the four brothers. Something Dain said twisted in my gut, “You said his oath to her was broken?” “The only one currently under oath is Cain, and that is to House Viotto. Once an oath is given, it’s not something that can be broken. Apollo is the exception.” “It’s like a completed mate-bond.” I held my breath as his piercing eyes drifted to my neck, where I knew a bruise stood

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

His Rejected Luna, His Hidden Son

His Rejected Luna, His Hidden Son

The room went quiet in a new way. "The altar is not a parlor trick, child." Cyrus's smile didn't move. "A blood oath sworn falsely on holy ground unmakes the one who swears it — burns the wolf out of the body and leaves the body behind. I would not see you destroyed by your own bravado. You may not understand the weight of what you're offering."

She was drinking from the waterskin as if bored of hearing the tale again. "An oath of success" Godson continued, "To guarantee their success, Kamalu and his two friends were forced to take a blood oath, one which binds them as a sacrifice to the gods. It was a sacred meeting, and should have remained a secret until the end of the war." Godson rubbed his brow as the crease began to form. The glee in his eyes had disappeared, replaced now with sadness. It was as if he was in the battle himself.

Novaturient: Crescent Lovers

Novaturient: Crescent Lovers

“You should know what it meant.” Indeed he knew. Garelt Knew exactly what it meant to swear an ought to go to another. After all, he and Ryan are under the same spell. They both swore their loyalty and strength to the Moonglade. Their alliance was with the clan, not an individual, and to them, Bernard Hireath was the clan. Some say that this ought was made by the founders to ensure the prosperity of the clan. That the knights could fend off evil even if it was their Alpha. As a matter of fact, it was considered taboo to swear an alliance with the Alpha. All the oughts were directed to the clan.

One by one they nodded in assent. The discussion had sparked a fire within them, fueling their ambitions and setting the stage for a new era of collaboration and dominance. “Gentlemen, if we’re to succeed in this alliance, we must swear a blood oath. This path will bind us together in a common cause, and it will symbolize our commitment to one another. It’s a sacred bond, forged in blood, and it cannot be broken. Do you accept this oath?” I paused letting the weight of the words sink in.

Falling for the Vampire Prince

Falling for the Vampire Prince

“Your promises don’t mean shit.” We can take a blood oath, then’’ I said confidently. A blood oath was a sort of pact made by two supernaturals which bound them to the promises made to the other. It was often conducted by witches who had the power to lay a curse on anyone of the parties who did not fulfil his end of the bargain. “That won’t be necessary, love.” She stood up from her chair, her ruby heels clanking the tiles. She took a position in front of me, leaned over and whispered in my ear. “I knew you couldn’t resist me even after all these years.’’

Beast Billionaire Claim

Beast Billionaire Claim

“Isn’t that what all tribunals are?” Maxim didn’t move. Didn’t blink. But Zara saw it—the flicker of something ancient and primal in his eyes. He was holding back not because he couldn’t fight—but because if he did, he might not stop. The elder continued, “As per the Old Pact, heirs must present a united front. This court demands a blood oath—a shared truth and trial—to prove your loyalties. Do you accept?” “I do,” Maxim said first. Victor tilted his head. “And if we don’t pass?”

Falling For A Man Of The City

Falling For A Man Of The City

He hadn't kept his eyes nor hands off of me, it had made me feel special. With the fire crackling in the fireplace I could feel myself being lulled to sleep after listening to the light sound of the rain until he finally spoke making me look up at him. "You asked me why I can't just leave that life," he breathed staring up at the ceiling. "Truth is baby, I'm trying to," he replied releasing a heavy sigh that held within it the frustration of a man attempting to cut off any ties, "that's part of what I've been doing lately. But it's not easy to just walk away once you take the oath ." The oath he was referring to was a blood oath that was a part of a ritual that originated from Roman-Catholic

Pact of Blood

Pact of Blood

Laura said, her voice echoing through the silent fortress. "But what is the point of guarding a reality that we are slowly erasing ourselves to maintain?" "The point is that they exist," Vlad countered. He walked over to her, his shadow stretching long across the floor. "The point is that someone else gets to remember the rain, even if you can’t. That’s the nature of the pact, Laura. We weren't promised a reward. We were promised a burden."
